When dancing with the stars first started I loved it. But letting America vote messed it up for me. They weren’t voting for best dancers they were voting on who they like as actors, athletes etc…

Agree, it should be 1/3 viewers vote with 2/3 judges. That way the viewers feel like they get a voice in the competition, but the judges vote carries more weight since they are the ones with knowledge.

Yeaaaaa I don't think that all happened. Nikki didn't know Artem before she was on the show. She wouldn't have any experience with what he was like beforehand.

I was a professional ballroom dancer for many years, I competed for over 20 years. I can tell you that the ballroom industry would make a great soap opera. It’s a very glamorous world, but also a very difficult one. Physically demanding with a mixture of sex, drugs and booze. I loved my years in the business, but I didn’t miss the drama.

Best for me was Bindi & Derek….. beautiful…& Donny…. Love him because it’s Donny….

I loved the show when they had wounded vets and people with disabilities on it! It was amazing to see those people shine and show us what true grit and courage look like in this vapid world!

My husband & I have always been fans of Cheryl since day 1 and missed her when she wasn't on the show.

I stopped watching when I didn't know who any of the "stars" were and because Tyra became the host. My favorite pro was Tony Dovolani and my favorite celeb was Ty Murray. He wasn't the best dancer but he tried really hard and improved every week. I loved watching him.

I couldn't watch it when Banks hosted.

The light show got so bad you could barely make out the dancers. And then it went to pay to view. Used to be a fun show. My favorite contestants were Bindi and Jennifer Grey.

I dance & it’s my joy! The show should include dancers of all colors & sizes as that would encourage more people to dance. They do great with always including older individuals, some manage to do really well & it’s inspiring.

I think they've covered the colors well. And while not a bunch of sizes we have had a few -- Amber Riley, Kelly Osbourne, and others that were just a bit soft and fluffy who got pretty fit. Kelly was a big change.

Loved the show until Tyra got on board. Couldn't watch it anymore. I hate all the extra lights & background dancers they've implemented. It takes away from the couple & makes it hard to watch. Is just not necessary!

Cheryl and Lacey were never very heavy! Too thin isn't very attractive.

I'm glad Tyra is finally gone from the show! She was too much. I miss Tom & Erin. I know sometimes you need a change up but still...

I would personally like to see dancers of all different sizes, because it would inspire multiple other people to dance.

.. The dancers in Dancing With the Stars are ATHLETES. They work every single day to stay flexible, strong and have the stamina to perform at the highest professional level. Think about that.

Cheryl’s dancing went downhill as she gained weight. It may have been a coincidence, but if her dancing quality had stayed the same, I doubt he would have said anything about her weight.

He's not wrong, when you're not in shape, it affects how you move. If you're in shape, you move better. If you're out of shape, it affects your breathing and everything

@@StarlordNoah but just cuz you're bigger don't mean you're out of shape. There's some overweight people who go hard in the gym, running etc. That's why they say you cannot tell health by size alot of the time

If people vote for their "favorites" how does that make it fair for those who ARE VISIBLY MUCH BETTER AND DESERVE THE WIN??? Can't please everyone all of the time. It USED TO BE A GOOD SHOW.

Max is a great talented dancer. He was also a huge ass, mean, old school chauvinist. It wasn’t HIS show, the comment that revealed how full of himself he was & may still be.

I am glad that she got help and that they are 🤭

I am so glad that Tyrant Tyra is gone, she was severely miscast & her outfits were so distracting. I don’t like the audience vote, great dancers constantly get eliminated while bad dancers stay, like this week, 10-24-23, I can’t believe that influencer Billy Guy got to stay, he can’t dance and consistently gets lowest scores.

Those bullies should be jailed for frightening a young child.

The producers are making a huge mistake by trying to manipulate us with falsehoods when they could be showing the real struggles people experience. I'd still be watching that show if they hadn't been so nauseating about the "showmances".

Great dancing requires a very good memory.

I doubted the validity about some of these stories. I knew some were fake when it got to Jennifer Grey from dirty dancing. She'd had back issues and surgery PRIOR to the show, which was what caused her to struggle with pain during the season.

People's damage isn't always visible, as this is showing.

they get injuries. I guess the show schedule is they have to practice 6 hours a day. I honestly don't know how their knees can take it.

I've had many favorites, but I absolutely loved Ariana this season (still think she should have won 😉) i loved watching Allison this year too... one of my favorite dances was Derek and Bindy when they danced a contemporary to Marks now Wifes (Alexandra Jean) song Roses and Violets. Killed it! I have always loved Sharna, Witney, Lindsey, Val, Peta, and Daniella! Daniella and Iman were on fire ! Nyle was just amazing with Peta, Rumer and Val I loved, Lindsey Sterling and Mark, Bindi and Derek, there's too many right?!?!?!

Maks and louis said that because of vanity, not because of their love for dance

Derek Hough was my favorite dancer. Don't much care for him as a judge. Not his judging ability.. his personality now.

Lol I wish he'd lose that broach. I seen him on a few daytime shows promoting his traveling show ..A symphony of dance. Wish him the best ...but sure wish the younger version of Derek was out there going for one more Mirror Ball trophy

He's always mugging for the camera & making everything about himself, like when he stands up to give his critiques. If he still wants all the attention he should go back to dancing imo. He's a phenomenal dancer but his personality makes me sick. He's not Len Goodman and never will be. Being in Len's chair has really gone to his head imo

So sad to hear this but it's life.

I quit watching when they had 2 girls dancing together. Plus, when Banks was hired. Her outfits were ridiculous and I preferred the former host.
