Thanks for the video, Lowko. Max’s defense has been on display as of late and Dark was creative to figure out how to overcome it. Very entertaining.

He creates his own work schedule ( ok apart from the competition matches ), he has the option of sleeping when the toddler naps

My second child was born about 3 weeks ago. And I will say that SC2 is not a great game for a new child because you need both arms and full attention. With my first I ended up playing a lot of team fight tactics because you can play that one while holding a sleeping baby because you just need a mouse.

not a parent but an elder brother. these little craplings really take a lot of your time and destroy your sleep, especially in the first 2 to 3 years of their lives. by the age they stop being an absolute nuisance you become that existential defeat face from the "don't know / know" memes who doesn't think of having a family of his own. "oh no, not this crap again!" that's why a lot of child-free people i know are the ones who have a lot of younger siblings. and by the way, you never know with Dark. he might've trained some AI to play like him and he might be happily sleeping whilst that AI wins him $$$. cheesy Dark is a blessing regardless. but more viewer games please! these are the best from the fun standpoint.

The sentry is the best protoss unit by far. Force field, guardian shield (instant +2 armor to all of your army) and scout with a single 100 gas tier 1 unit ? I'll always take it

In second match, MaxPax had his probe in Dark's mineral line, and just 'touched' the minerals, then moved to another mineral node, like many times. What is the strategy there? Just 'killing time' while doing recon; or does touching the mineral nodes do something to Dark's ability to mine those nodes?

only 3 workers can be on a mineral node at a time, so he was disrupting Dark from mining optimally--ever so slightly

@@Spartsou Cool. Thanks for the info. I actually was watching a video from Harstem where he was doing a voice-over of his own games for some tournament he was in, and he too had a probe messing with the mineral line. In the Harstem video, it was more evident, to me, that the probe on the mineral line was messing with the Zerg's drones -- drone kept resetting to another node.

Can someone please explain to me why protoss doesn't go for shield upgrades? As I understand it, the shield upgrade effectively adds armor to everything. Shields do regenerate... So if I can have say 80 shields with +3 armor, that basically is +240 hp that regenerates relatively quickly out of combat. It also would make shield batteries a proper pain... Why invest in upgrading the actual armor that can't be repaired whatsoever OVER the shields?

Most people upgrade armor because it's cheaper and most units have more health points than plasma shield points. Also, a Ghost with EMP can easily rip through shields regardless of upgrades.

Would love to see some more coverage of the un-usual suspects, I know the top players generally are more entertaining but feels like there's so much overlap in duplicate coverage of these same games these days.

Dark is less predictable, more fun, harder to read. He's better for viewers. Serral is more efficient and takes more prizes. He's better as a pro gamer.

to me, it is pretty clear to see that hydra lurker just counter any combination that toss can do, ohh you go air - more hydras, ohhh i killed all your air and you are trying to do some ground stuff, let me morph some hydras into some lurkers on the fly. Imo hydras should not be able to be morphed into lurkers, lurkers should be something you need to build from larvae and also when they are morphing they should take more damage, just like when Protoss is warping in their units.
