Yes, stock bulb has blurry lens. The new bulb clear one was inserted inside stock unit.

Yes, both gets switched on bi xenon one and default one together, hence the yellowish light

It's old high beam, what you see spot, I am. Yet to disconnect it

why is this light better than the stock one if it had the same wattage?

It's lens is clearer without spots and of better quality, it's not only about Watts.

it is supposed to be set at zero in all conditions. Except when your vehicle is loaded you need to change the settings.

Ideally light replacement should not hamper other parts warranty as long as it is not connected to lights. I bought it because it was already 1 year completed. Go for it if you don't mind taking little risk. (mostly should be fine)
