The Knight's watcher in the dark and Chaplain's fnp abilities are ONLY against mortal wounds! Also Hellblasters shoot on death on a 3+! Great game though and abolutely stunning models!! (:

I absolutely love this Alpha Legion army and it has inspired me to build my own. Thanks for the painting tutorial.

Also the DA player is not making full use of the IronStorm Spearhead detachment rule. The rule allows: Once per phase for each ADEPTUS ASTARTES unit in your army, you can re-roll one Hit roll, one Wound roll or one Damage roll made for a model in that unit.

They still have that ability. Many rules missed and the DA still performed very well!

I am watching turn 2 and he has not picked his oath target either that would have helped him alot

I may be totally ignorant on this, but do Dark Angels get access to all the space marine detachments? You can get access to all the unique DA units, yet run a unique space marine detachment?

they do, but when you draw dark angels, you jsut can't draw from other chapters like ultramrines, salamanders, spacewolves, etc. But everything non-character and non-faction specific is game for all (non chaos) space marine factions.

Great Battlereport i must say :) May I have a Question? I wonder if is it possible to use RENEGADE RAIDERS Stratagem REAVERS’ HASTE on unit that just disembark from Rhino and the Rhino did only Normal Move ?? Cheers

Do dark angels get access to armour of contempt? It was crying out in a couple of those fights to drop that bad boy, but not sure if they get it.

By looking at the game, it seems that this Chaos Space Marines Detachment doesn't fit very well with your style of play and models in the army. The detachment rile is useless and no stratagems at all. Try the Index one, you could have used a lot of Stratagems to help your units!!!

Re-rolling a failed dice roll because you rolled outside of the dice tray seems a bit like cheating to me..

Apologies, Im still getting used to using a dice tray and was just trying to keep the dice under control. Later on I give up using it so I can see that it seems like cheating but I didn’t mean to.
