  That was such a fun reveal with James! Loved it all. Now while that board was beautiful I think it needed another piece of LoS blocking terrain in the middle so there aren't those big gun alleys from deployment zone to deployment zone. I definitely feel that took most of the punch out of the Alpha Legion's force. Can't wait for the next game

  Great work. Great Battlefields, keep it up. Was very inspired by your Bridge Over the River _____ Battlefield you did years back. Think it was Guard vs some other race and used a Bridge form TT Combat/Bolt Action

  26:27 forests in 7th edition confer a 5+ cover save, so it would have been 3+ and you rolled a 2 meaning it would have been 1 HP off.

  Commenting to appease the machine god’s algorithm. I swear Alpha Legion used to have a -1 to hit at range mechanic at range that definitely would have helped with those early turns. Did they do away with it?

  They re-worded the grenade strategem so you can't use it if you advanced, fell back or shot already this turn. I imagine several people already said this 😂

  I have seen many battle Reports with Chaos Marines and Dark Pact needs to be nerfed, IT NEVER FAILS. Lovely looking armies, James is a pleasure as always.

  Good game gents! Good start James, but you lost the 2 demolishers to fast due to being a bit too forward. Try to keep them at 24" the first time they can fire and leave objectives for chimera's and sentinels :p

  so they removed it from the eldar codex, made the special characters you could add to a unit their own force org choices, wrote some extra rules for them, introduced one new harlequin jetbike unit and called that a codex. no wonder i stopped playing in mid 7th

  eldar got their 6th edition codex in 2013, which wasnt necessary since they had gotten a fleshed out codex in 2008 but hey, it had been 5 years, it was 6th edition, everyone wanted a full color hardback, and the flyers are nice, so ok. Eldar performed well in tourney. But within 2 years, they got their 7th edition codex. Why? Nobody had asked for it. And each bike mounting a scatterlaser was so OP idk why GW broke a perfectly fine codex with a horribly imbalanced one.

  54:42 p.165 7th ed brb says only a model in b2b with a foe gets to make its hammer of wrath attack. 1:37:11 how does the ironclad get 5 attacks? He has 2 base attacks, 1 for 2ccws that are both specialist and thus get it, and he got charged so no bonuses there and just 3 in total. 1:41:30 again, wrong. Seismic Hammer is concussive and the Wraithknight was wounded the previous turn, so he is at initiative 1 while james' iconclad was alwas at i4 and he just played it wrong the whole time (as a balance he also played his lucius pattern drop pod wrong by allowing himself to assault the turn it landed so it is balanced i guess)

  Loved tto see the alpha Legion action after I saw that new army video yesterday. Now onto the batrep against the ultramarines I seem to have missed, haha. And YES a landraider would certainly be a cool addition the army. Hopefulkly the obliberators will get a little more action next time!
