Awesome interview! Dante is fuckin rad, I've always been a big fan of his. I love all the stuff Dante was talking about but i am a hardcore kid at heart...a 46 year old hardcore kid lol being a life long Connecticut native and being so close to NYC I'm huge fan of NYHC.

Host seems like a cool dude and is very humble. But if you're gonna have a legend on like Dante, you gotta do some homework. This guy has witnessed and shaped two of the most influential forces in American culture in the last 50 years (hip hop and hardcore) and has stories for days if prompted. I will be happy to tune into this show again, but encourage you to prepare in advance for guests of this caliber. Salute, Dante.

Bro, the reason I had Dante on was to learn about him. That's the whole point of my show. I had him on because he attacked me online, and I called him out for it. I like him and didn't let it bother me, and we'll talk again, I think. But as far as doing research on him, that's why he's my guest. This was not something planned. He shit on me on IG, and I responded with asking if he'd rather come talk to me than berate me. He said yes, we talked. You have specific themes or questions for him, i am happy to make notes and talk with him about it, though. My question for him is, "Tell me your story," and then see where it goes from there. I'm glad you watched but I do all my episodes this way, it isn't meant to offend you, of course, it's just my style of podcasting. It's not necessarily an "interview", it's just a conversation. Thanks again for watching, I sincerely hope you come back. Hit me up with questions for him or content ideas, my email is in the description 👊😎🏴‍☠️

@@thepunkrockreview Will definitely tune in to more episodes! Like your vibe and respect your struggle. I didn't know the interview was spontaneous. I thought you two butt heads and then recorded the interview some time later. If it happened on the spot after the interaction, color me impressed!

"PUNK ROCK REVIEW" in 20 minutes professes dislike for nearly all crucial 70s 80s bands. Sorry about your terrible taste.

It's all good, man, we all like what we like. Wasn't trying to upset you personally. If you actually listened to what I said about it instead of immediately being triggered, you'd understand how and why I like what I like. It makes a lot of sense. But I mean, I don't have to please you or mark off a checklist for you in order to be punk rock.

@@thepunkrockreview I personally find it refreshing when people like you give their honest opinions about stuff were "supposed to like" 'cos it's "important." It's called being real. And there's a shortage of it in the world and moreso on this cesspool we call the interwebs. Please don't lose your honesty!
