I done this in my back yard with a super cheap auto tool kit and got it engineer approved . never be worried to have a go , yes its hard work but its worth the time :)
Built my ls swapped truck in my backyard, first time doing a swap. She’s on the road and engineered 👌🏽
Nice job young man thank you for your videos
Holy Crap!!! Danny! It looks Awesome mate! WOW. Lot of donk there mate!
whats the ls2 like with torque compared to a turbo diesel?
any more too this?
what episode is this?
wheres the next episode??
Is there anymore follow up vidos for this build?
how much???????
Sure is, they had quite a long stroke on them, which is unusual for a petrol. I can see why they replaced this one though, it does look a little tired
HEY BRETT,WHAT SORT OF COST IS THE CHANGE OVER
we all gotta learn somehow
@truedeadman The conversion is looked over by an engineer to ensure it is safe and legal for road use
who did the wiring again?
i'm curious as to want you mean by "engineered"? Could you explain...i'm in America and not sure what you mean. Thanks
I had Brett from 4x4 Obsession do work on my 80 series several years ago Replaced the head - less than 5000km later head blown due to Brett failing to replace the water pump (the original reason for the car going in); Brett installed a P/T kit - less than 25000kms the heavy duty hubs collapsed - installed and air compressor, lightforce lights and rear light - fuse kept blowing due to several short circuits; rear light had to be replaced the second replacement is somewhere on the Hume Hwy between Sydney and Melbourne; Brett claims he refreshed my OME suspension including new bushes - workmanship failed MOT and had to be replaced. All of this and Brett refused to honor any warranty. Not once was vehicle put into low range, so none of this is due miss-use, 99% hwy travelling and daily driver. Do not use 4x4 Obsession and don't not trust Brett.
1zfe is not junk is a beast to a engine builder like my self been nice if the valve angle was wider but the turbo and narrow valve angle will be good combination they work well together due to turbulence in the air fuel mix
Cost?$
what is your number
