I think it's so cool that the Danish king is a trained frogman on an equal footing with everyone else. He has not been spared or given a nice officer's title.
The Frogmans corps in Denmark is still open for civilians with few requirements such as a minimum age of 21 basic schooling and so on
Thank you, its been really enjoyable to get your reactions on this series. The danish Frogmen has always had the greatest respect from me, as i grew up on tales about these guys, as they are based close to the area i grew up, and in the forest my great grandfather used to be a forester of. I know that I would never make it as a frogman myself, but after being enlisted in the navy for almost 20 years now, I have had the honor and pleasure of experiencing working side by side with frogmen on many ocations. Including the guy who you were suprised to have made it all the way through to the end, even though his face wasn't blurred :)
Just to clarify: The Frogan Corps do take in civilian. As is now Jægerkorpset. The streams between the two corps are being streamlined. So both corps take in civilians of boths genders.
been a blast mate, keep it up and coming!
You can join frogman and jaeger as civilian. a few years ago the jaeger corps only took in military personel.
i thoroughly enjoy the series, thank you!
Live not too far from their headquarters. They borrow our local swimming hall and train around the area. The ones that come in are just made of something special. not Muscle Bundles at all. But just well trained.
It would be fire if you reacted to the Swedish series "Vägen till stridspilot" showing how they train and educate Swedish Fighter Pilots. It's simmilar to how they did the "Jägare" series.
Combat Ready HQ is such a fantastic YT channel. This is my early morning TV with a cup of coffee. Keep up the good work.

Great series and comments from you! I too was surprised that a guy with an unblurred face would go through the entire course. I wonder why that is. If it's voluntary to get your face blurred or if he's somehow out of service by the time the documentary aired.
I dont know if its translated into English (I believe it is) but a 4 episode series called "My war" is a really good documentary from afghanistan
Awesome!
The requirements are 21 years old, completed the Danish primary school with 02 or above in grades for Math, Danish and English. Preferred below 31 years, but not a requirement. Must be able to acquire a driver license and cannot have a revoked license at the start.
12k in 60 min, is a nice fast paced run.
My dad was a high ranking logistics officer in the Danish military, and he was also gone about 8 months of the year. I learned to accept it, but part of that acceptance is that i did largelly grow up without a dad, it's just a fact, i don't particularly hold it against him (there's no such thing as not holding it against him at all, that's just not human) because it was his job and it was important but i can't really relate to having a father present which has complicated some things. It's not good growing up without a father as a man, i can't relate being taught things by my dad. He was pretty much stationed out of the country starting the year i was born, 1993 in Bosnia until i was 19, give or take. After that he spend much more time in an office in Denmark, only going for a few months at a time to Iraq and Afghanistan. I am proud of my dad, he's a knight of Dannebrog. A civalric order given by the now former Queen for 37 years of faithful service, but it's difficult.
yes the danish frogmen do occasionally train with the navy seals. they are definitely on the same level of expertise. i know that for a fact 😀but the frogman corps is actually older than the US navy seals. make your own conclusion with that info😉😉
Have you watched the British show about Royal Marine selection? its all on youtube would love some insights
Did part of the documentary get censored? I swear that there was at least 2 exercises that's not shown in this react series.
fun fact the danish king did this and became a frogman

@@CombatReadyHQ He did not. He was there to learn about it and observe. I know the press liked to present it as if he was, but he was not. He was never asked to do the full initial trials etc. either. It was for him to get a better understanding of the Danish military. Keep in mind that you cannot risk the future king like this. His military "career" was in fact quite light and a bit pampered.
Frogman corps was formed 5 years earlyer than Navy seals, so prob the other way around, they got it from us ^^

And it´s harder then the seals aswell... way fewer complete the frogman training.. ( it´s 10% vs 20-25% of the Navy seal candidates)
Applaus to the 6. i my self attented a special force cause long ago. i was in my peak age and of physical performance. i dropped out somewhat do to a bad angle (that i still have trouble with now 15 years later) but honestly i must admit looking back, i just did not have the mentality to go all the way.
Thanks for your great reaction videos. I notice the sound is better :) - These Danish frogmens are as hard as they get but they are nothing compared to the Danish Jaegers. But the Danish Jaegers do not have a fancy video describing them. You can see some of them in the documentary "armadillo"

The danish jaegers do indeed have a documentary describing them. It has even been reacted to by this YT channel. It's called "Jægerkorpset" (eight episodes) and was on Danmarks Radio about two years ago and is still on dr.tv. Highly recommended!
Fun fact if you did not know our king has been through it he is a frog man and we are very happy about it aswell here in Denmark

He is not. I know the press would like you to think so, but not true. He was there to learn about it and observe. He participated in some things, but he was never a part of the course, not even the initial trials.

@@AB-80X No, and no matter how many times you write it, doesn´t make it so... He IS infact a fully trained Frogman (codename: pingo)... But ofc he never served as one, because he was the crown prince...

@@JesperSandgreen I know a lot more about it than you ever will. Think what you like, it is what it is.
I am pretty sure that a woman completed the frogman's combat diver course and that she is the only woman who has done it so far.
How do they communicate? Nobody can understand Danish.
