It's light heavy, 175 pounds, I don't think he need to move higher. Before this fight he wasn't even in top-100, now he's 58th in the rating. He is 26 years old and it's his natural weight, doesn't need to drain before fight. Maybe after 30 years he can reach cruiserweight, but with moving up he will lost his height advantage. Being 1.98 meters tall, I think he is capable of beating Bivol by points. Bivol is not a hard puncher, last KO was 6 years ago. He does not make mistakes and never get tired. Regarding Beterbiev, I think, he will retire before Lapin proceed to World Champion fights.

This was weird. He quit after a jab. The straight left didn't land. The ref was wrong because the guy never touched the canvas until the ref had to tell him to take a knee. Late shots are after the opponent touches canvas with anypart of body other than foot and he was crouched with his hands up like a complete amateur.

Yes and boxing rules state you cannot hit your opponent after they touch the canvas, except the guy was crouching and no part of him was touching the canvas which is why Lappin kept throwing as every other boxer would and should do since he is not down yet.

He was crouching he wasnt on his knees so since he wasnt touching canvas they were all legal. He in fact never hit him while he was touching the canvas.

Late punches,doesn’t matter if he was squatting or on his ass he knew he had him but he kept punching. No one is responsible for his own actions these days.
