@@leewilliams2763 No I mentioned him, Holyfield the pumped up cruiserweight, Bowe also lost to him, Bowe could barely beat actual heavyweights like gatekeeper Golota, big duck Bowe is known for beating 1 name.

I feel like this fight actually saved Wilder’s career and allowed him to carry on. He got so beaten down in the second fight but here although he lost again he was dangerous and showed pure heart and grit.

The funniest part about this whole thing is, he picked Tyson at his lowest point in life, but what he didn't realize was is that he woke up Fury to get his life back on track and the rest is history....and I loved it.

When fury recovered and got back to his feet from the left vicious hook in the their first fight, i knew it would be super hard to knock this guy out.his resilence is remarkable.

It doesn't get better than this fight. AMAZING.

This 3rd fight was so iconic. These 2 were natural rivals at the top of their game and it showed on this night.

Regardless of who you like, you can't deny that these two were meant for each other. 6'7, Deontay Wilder. 6'9, Tyson Fury. Just their names alone sound like an amazing matchup. As boxing fans, we truly were lucky to have these two share the ring/promotion 3 times. Two giants, both with vibrant personalities, both who truly believe they were the best in the world. It really doesn't get any better than that. They really put on for the heavyweight division, and it'll take some time before we ever get to see such an intriguing matchup again in that division. Big thank you to both Wilder and Fury. It really was a fun ride.

Back in the day, there were a ton of world class boxers with such skill to the eye it was like a piece of fine art from Tyson, Lennox, Holyfield, James Toney, Tommy Morrison, Foreman, Ali, Listen, Fraiser, Bowe, Ken Norton, etc. Guys like Wilder that are just a one trick pony with absolutely zero footwork or head movement would get destroyed. No one would have even heard of him back in the day

Let us all take a moment and appreciate the referee's spotless performance. Extremely attentive and smooth, always making sure the boxers were fit enough to continue, and even in place to soften Wilder's final downfall. Perhaps many of you think this is standard refereeing, and perhaps you're right, but through the history of boxing there have been some horrific displays from the man in charge of the ring.

He went down himself. If you watch in slow mo, he makes a mistake, eats a right and probably realizes he’s a bit disoriented. Just enough to get knocked down bad if he takes another right. So he starts falling preventatively to make sure an actual, serious down doesn’t take place. Just playing it smart

This is my favorite trilogy of the modern era. People forget, even though he isn’t skillful, Wilder was sleeping everyone. Everyone! One and three are both epic. Two is just a twisted, ridiculous beat down. Fury getting up in the first fight. Wilder taking a third fight knowing how bad it would be. I’ve watched all three fights several times. We are blessed to have been given Tyson Fury. Incredible story.

Wilder was a one punch wonder and no one could stop it. He deserves all the credit he received. He dominated his opponents. I do think his dominance may also speak to how unskilled most heavyweights are though. Certainly the heavyweights of this current generation. Fury proved he is the exception.

He has taken massive power shots that put him down before he fought Wilder, and Wilder has taken beatings before running it with Fury. Luis Ortiz gave Wilder a run for his money till Wilder finished it with a right hand. Both of these guys took beatings but win them and now we see one man giving the man a beating.

The round 4 knock down by Wilder was a long count for Fury. He said 5, get over there, 6iiiix. Even the commentary said it too.

Fury had injuries, bad camp, daughter was in hospital during preparation etc. and still came out and dominated, he was no where near 100%. His power of recovery is insane. What a monster.

It's not crazy at all , when you look at the calibre of fighters that Wilder actually fought to build up that 40-0 record, before fighting Tyson Fury. His only credible opponent was Luiz Ortiz , but even he caught Wilder with some good punches. Once Wilder fought Fury, and realised this fighter was actually good, his days as heavyweight Champion was numbered. I still think Wilder is one of the best punchers I've seen, and I reckon he would knock Joshua out, but I don't see him beating Fury (if they ever met for a fourth time) and he wouldn't beat Usyk either.

I could watch fury and wilder fight every Saturday.

Does Wilder really deserve respect? "After the fight, Fury went over to Wilder and attempted to shake his hand. Wilder rebuffed the attempt and refused to acknowledge Fury. In his post-fight interview, Fury stated "I'm a sportsman. I went over to him to show some love and respect and he didn't show it back. I will pray for him so that God will soften his heart."

Both fighters deserve so much respect. This is what boxing is about

There are so many massive shots in this fight I can't believe it went 11 rounds! The crowd probably has brain damage just from seeing those punches so close up.

Hard to appreciate just how big these guys are. The fact that they can keep swinging for 11 rounds puts them in a different league than just "Heavyweights". Heavyweights used to be 210 pounds and 6'1". These guys are giants.

I've never been a Deontay fan, but the guy showed more determination to get hit in the face for a full 12 rounds than I've ever seen. Not sure anyone else could have taken that much and keep going.

both guys. both guys took BOMBS for 11 rounds. Fury took fewer punches but Wilder's landed with slightly more power. both guys have tremendous chins, heart, and endurance to last that deep into a fight and still have power to hurt each other and get the KO in Fury's case

Absolute Greatness. From both Champions

I was rooting for Fury when this happened but I've seen a lot more content on Deontay since then and he's definitely had some questionable moments and quotes but I've become a big fan. He lays it all out there and is honest and upfront with what he's thinking and I respect that. Went out on his shield as well.

This fight was the first great heavy weight clash I've ever watched live. I was a Deontay advocate in the first one but at least it led me to Fury. That brother is special. He and Wilder were destined rivals. Glad I got to witness greatness.

It was a solid punch but it wasn't great. Wilder was exhausted and had even less defense than normal. Fury's punch came long after the "slip". I wouldn't compare him to the likes of Ali any time soon.

Fury is simply the best in the world. He took Wilder's hardest punch and got back up to finish him off. I don't see anyone else doing that today. This fight had everything.

Fury does so much good work with his left. 🥊 His right is his power punch of course but his left is always doing work and making important shots.

The size of Fury was just too much. Leaning on the smaller guy finally took its toll. No doubt Wilder looks better on the beach. Natural size always beats a smaller framed guy, who is muscled up from weights. Great fight though. Unfortunately for Wilder, this guy has his number. Too bad since with Fury not around, he’s easily the best. But yes, Wilder does look better. Unfortunately for him, this is not a vanity contest. 😉

They both deserve nothing but respect. Tough fighters who refuse to quit

You can watch the highlights as many times as you want, but the thrill of watching it live was something else. Can't be describe in words. Truly the best heavyweight fight of this generation even though it was 1 sided other than the knockout in Round 4 by Wilder.

It's so much better than watching the Klitschkos back then. It was just about defending the title with all means. It was so booooring! The Klitschkos buried boxing in Germany. With the end of their careers, there was no more boxing on TV and it lost much of it's popularity. While in the rest of the world boxing became bigger and bigger, with all the pay-per-view records, boxing in football stadiums, gigantic purses _(tens of millions guaranteed)_ and stars like Fury or Mayweather Jr., nobody seems to care abou it here in Germany. Except for martial arts fans. But it doesn't transcend into pop culture, like in 90's and 00's with Henry Maske, Axel Schulz and the Klitschko twins. I really don't get it... This clip alone has 16 million views.

Both of these dudes are just larger than life.. But Tyson Fury is just pure magic.. The way he smothers with wild savagery is so entertaining. But Deontays heart and will is just as aw inspiring.

My favorite fights are those where I find myself WANTING BOTH TO WIN! This was one of the few.

I’ve watched these highlights maybe 10 times and every time I’m just shocked by the determination and toughness of these two men. Truly a battle of wills and Fury just proved you have to put him 6 feet deep to beat him. If he is conscious he will get back up and put it to you. Best heavyweight fight in a decade in my opinion and It was aided by Fury’s change in style and looking a little sloppy compared to normal.

After losing the second fight I don't think Wilder should have taken this fight. Fury adapted his gameplan every fight and improved, while Wilder didn't. He got outboxed and outclassed in this one, suffering the most brutal knockout of his carreer.

This reminded me of the golden age of heavyweight boxing. As a child, I watched so many great fights with my dad. My dad would’ve loved this one. RIP POP! 🥊

Wilder fell asleep and woke up during the same brief sequence, the same 1-2 seconds it took him to reach the floor. High IQ moment from Fury, massive display of resilience from Wilder. PS: great stoppage from the ref. Wilder went down like a bag of bricks twice, and the last time could've been ugly.

I’ve seen better, but about equally vicious in the ufc. It wasn’t that great, wilder was almost unconscious, it was an easy counter by fury and he was able to throw so much venom because he knew wilder was not all there

You can hate or love Tyson Fury. But hands down its an amazing boxer talent with one of the greatest stamina!!!! Respect for Deontay too!!!!

The trilogy was the best for sure crazy to see Deontay come back from that second fight destruction ❤
