Theology is man made and isn't the word of God. Many theologians equate theology to the word of God hence all the problems. Most theologians have taken upon themselves the task of answering tricky questions, which are of little bearing to the Christian faith and aren't able to answer them satisfactorily I am afraid. What good does it make to someone struggling with an addiction to know that God has preselected a privileged few for salvation and that our faith is entirely the work of God and that our personal will is discarded in the entire process. Do you understand how damaging is that. I myself was a Calvinist for a few years so I know what I am talking about. If anything theology has done more harm to the body of Christ than it has done good.

Theologians are not the most effective on the field quite the opposite. I am sure that the late Derek Prince whom I watched daily has changed far more lives than John MacArthur with his theology which confuses even himself. Theological prejudices prevent the latter from embracing wholeheartedly the will and work of God in our generation.
