Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Beside larger tires you can use the old space to add an extra water tank. Love your vids and appreciate your hard work. 😊

@Mels Big Van Small World Hi Mel if you need to pull extra cables through an insulated space try using a plastic coated curtain wire with a small screw eye in each end. It should have enough rìgidity in it to feed it down through the insulation then just attach the cables to the screw eye and pull the cables back through from which ever end suits you best. Another question for you if you wanted to fit a rear dash cam and you don't have any rear windows like in your van is there an alternative way of doing it other than installing a multi camera system that monitors the whole of the outside of the van I think there's one called Backeye R 360 from a company called Brigade Electronics who knows they might even be prepared to sponsor a video

Also an issue if using stainless brackets next to galv. You can buy top hat washers made of nylon, for just such a job.

I have this issue too, and am thinking of buying lights that replace the rear bumper reflectors. Not high up, but probably better than nothing (dont have roof racks). Trying to find some with indicators in them too.

Mel, have you taken the van outside in daylight to check the lights for visibility? I purchased some very similar last year and withing minutes through them in the trash. They had very low light lumens cobs/LEDs in them In fact you could not see them in daylight. Hoping they have been improved since then and yours are much better. Stay safe and enjoy.

I'm not sure how and where you bolted the wheel carrier on. It does look like it could have been bolted on further to the offside, without fouling the leading rear door. Could it have been fitted a bit higher? I'm not trolling, I own a Sprinter day van/stealth wkend camper. I enjoy the content.

Just a little note to yourself and others. Maybe consider putting some small front and rear lights that are run of your leisure batteries that can be switched on and of. As a HGV driver there are a lot of reports in certain parts of the country that fines are being issued if you park unlit overnight in a layby.

This is a rule in the highway code, it only applys to laybys and on road parking on roads with a speed limit OVER 30 MPH Rule 249 All vehicles MUST display parking lights when parked on a road or a lay-by on a road with a speed limit greater than 30 mph (48 km/h). - Law RVLR reg 24 Rule 250 Cars, goods vehicles not exceeding 2500 kg laden weight, invalid carriages, motorcycles and pedal cycles may be parked without lights on a road (or lay-by) with a speed limit of 30 mph (48 km/h) or less if they are at least 10 metres (32 feet) away from any junction, close to the kerb and facing in the direction of the traffic flow in a recognised parking place or lay-by. Other vehicles and trailers, and all vehicles with projecting loads, MUST NOT be left on a road at night without lights. - Laws RVLR reg 24 & CUR reg 82(7

If your saying you've got a dangerous wheel carrier on ,why keep it on,just to put extra lights on ,and ruin your van.
