Dancing to I'll Take You There by the Staple Singers (written by Al Bell, 1972)
I have loved soul music ever since I was a young child. It lifts my mood, gets my body moving, and I can't help but sing along most of the time. Dancing is medicine that brings joy and and healing, especially during challenging times. I hope to inspire whoever watches this to get up and dance!
My dancing is about releasing inhibitions, getting out of my head, feeling the energy of the music & freely expressing through my body. It isn't about the perfect formal dance moves or how I look. Dancing while embodied & clear is fun, freeing, healing, & empowering. It raises my vibration & makes me incredibly happy. I want to spread the joy and healing that dance can bring. It has carried me through my most challenging times and I encourage anyone going through a hard time to pick out music they connect with and dance.
All of my life, I had crippling performance anxiety & felt uncomfortable being the center of attention & on camera. In December 2022 it ended. I am thrilled to finally be able to dance & sing freely, even in public & in front of a camera. I hope to entertain & to inspire others to dance, find their joy, & be seen.

Aint nothing wrong with singing out and dancing to get your body in motion because youll feel better because of it and I need to get a bigger space so I can spin around and stuff you know what I mean hello walls can be so torturous if you don't know how to creatively dream and escape the confinements of reality I uplift and praise you for doing this miss ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you so much! I’m so happy you’re inspired to dance! For the big movements and space- try dancing outside. One of my favorite places to dance is outside, especially out in nature. I dance in the car, walking down the sidewalk, at sports fields.

Also, to encourage others to find something that brings them joy as much as music and dancing bring me joy and do it, to celebrate music I love, and to bring people together through music and dance.
