I'm almost 70. Heard that song million times. This first time I caught all the lyrics. So beautifully sung. I've recently listened to your Beatles renditions and loved them to. You're young, but no beginner. Persevere!

It's famously a dark song. The tempo of his version is kind of deceptive.

How beautiful you play that melody, it is one of those that we eighties have tattooed on our souls, thanks for such a beautiful interpretation and thanks for the beautiful memories... I really miss your big smile at the end of the video

Bruce is a misunderstood poet, partly because nobody can understand a word he says. This was beautiful. Bruce should hire her to sing all his songs.

Hi Elvan, you know, I have discovered that Emily has the special ability to hear a song, and just immediately know what needs to be changed, in order to make it sound better. I mean over and above just her voice which always trumps any other. She finds that special something that, even if you thought the song was perfect the way it was, always changes it to a better version. I’ve told her that. In every single case, I have loved her version of a song more than the original.

I feel like this is the way that this song should have been played, slowed down to really convey the meaning. I never thought I would shed a tear listening to a song I've heard Springsteen sing so many times! Not to disparage the Boss, just sometimes the meaning gets lost in making a song faster so that Courtney Cox can dance to it. 😂 And Emily, you have that amazingly down to earth voice that just allows people to connect to the words and feel the soul of the song. 😎

This was never one of my favorite Springsteen songs but Emily's completely original take of this is brilliant, sounds great. I believe Emily's voice is maturing as she grows up, she sounds great on this.

As Steven V S says, when you do a cover, it should be spectacularly different or simply spectacular. Emily's done both, sweet performance.

This is a very lovely interpretation of Dancing In The Dark. I am not sure you could call this a cover, not entirely anyway. You pretty much created an entirely new song, setting a new mood over the original in my opinion. My jaw dropped the first time I heard it. It still sends a delightful, yet wistful like chill through me when I still listen to it. Very well done indeed young lady.

You killed this! I always had to listen hard to Bruce’s version . Your tempo,rhythm, and originality made it yours. Watching you sing you display ownership of the song. Voice is so clear and strong yet gentle. Sorry I’m late with comment. But, you are still No. 1 vocalist and instrumentalist to date.

Emily Magic covers the Best of the Best and makes it her own.. I don't think I ever enjoyed the lyrics as much before... !!!!❤
