🎄🎄🎄 Merry Christmas 2022 y'all 🎄🎄🎄
Consider this LONG-OVERDUE project of mine a special gift to the DRS community and all of you viewers! I hope this will help more newcomers understand this game and give it a try! This sure took WAY longer than the usual 2-min gameplay videos that I've been uploading, so I hope it's worth it!
If everything goes well, I might do something similar to this (e.g. tutorials, guides, or discussions on DRS) more in the future, so subscribe and leave in the comments below what you would like to see next!

I would've added more visual&sound effects if not for the fact that Davinci Resolve crashed too many times 🤦♂🤖 (probably hardware reason)

Not really effective the best way to learn is to search for the real dance used such as shuffle, melbourne shuffle, jumpstyle and learn their basic moves and you will recognize what you will use on the game
@archirnobenz
Жыл бұрын
@@bruhbagul7806 I strongly disagree with that. Learning the basic, intermediate or advanced moves doesn't necessarily mean one will know which patterns to apply it to. I can do heel toe top easily outside the pad, but it took me awhile to identify the different patterns which I can apply that on.

@@archirnobenz i strongly agreed! the reason why i never tried Danecrush was because idk wich patterns we can use to do things unlike DDR and Pump that already predefined buttons so to improvise can somewhat easier

It has been 7 months since my last post, and I have definitely gotten much better. My opinion however still is unchanged. I practice a lot outside of DRS but when it comes to the game, I'm still experimenting with new learnt moves on different patterns in exchange for lower scores (sometimes missing extra). So having this video will benefit players of any skill level. It is essentially a share of creativity. Cuts down on experimenting (and great way to learn new moves that otherwise are hard to find because there are no dedicated tutorials and name for the moves...)
The closest machine I have is 45 mins away.. so I hooked up a TV in my basement and I follow the youtube videos when I can't make it to the arcade 🤣. This game is addicting as hell, dope tutorial bro.

Im excited to try Dance rush at my local Round 1 with my new knowledge! No one in my area really plays on it right now, so I get to have it all to myself :) time to practice a lot! I hope I can look cool dancing around other people someday (especially, the Dance Rush cabinet in my arcade is right in front of the entrance of people walking by the Round 1 of the mall!)

No one ever uses it here either. I usually play pump it up but have been really wanting to get into it
Wow!! Learning that the game doesn’t punish you for crossing left and right feet against their assigned stamp is a game changer!
I started playing at MBK, some people are so friendly when I start asking them how to do the Running Man. One of them dragged me to the side and give me on some dancing tips, recommend for any people who want to do some exercise and practice dancing skills! I do not have the dance skills yet, but i hope to enjoy it along with MaiMai Dx!

Once a year for my birthday I make a pilgrimage to Witchita Kansas, Round 1, to play rhythm games for an entire weekend. Best weekend of the year.
We just got this game in the barcade I work at. We got Pump It Up, but no one in our city has ever seen this game, so needless to say, we’re all this getting used to playing it. Haven’t had too many people actually freestyling yet, so hopefully we get more people playing it!

I hope you do! Invite more people so that the game gets to stay longer (because arcade operators always look at those sales figures when deciding what games they'll add/remove 🤫)
As someone who gets really nervous trying out new games and has zero arcade experience, I really appreciate this tutorial a lot! Especially navigating the menu, as I feel like that's a thing a lot of tutorials would skip over! So thank you!

Thank you SO MUCH for this 🙏🏽 I used to play DDR A LOT as a kid - as well as Dance Central and was ADDICTED i really miss moving my body to music and getting those AAs - along w the high, adrenaline rush u get from the BPM + completing ea. move.. for a while was looking into DDR pads to have at home again but this time play thru stepmania since i just have a computer now. I may still do that too, but after discovering this literally a couple days ago after searching ddr on tiktok (im new to tiktok too) i am enamored and enthralled!! I found one less than 30min. From me - wish me luck 😂 i just got a car, too, so this can be a regular thing!! This is really my year, I say !! ❤ I LOVE YOUU! IM SOO HYPE AHAHA! Lucky for me i know how to running man/shuffle and i can do a baby freeze 🥶😂 Since im a girl w big chachas i gotta wear 2 bras when i be shuffling but it aint stoping me!!!😂😂

at 4:03, the 2 chinese options are traditional and simplified. traditional on the left, simplified on the right.
Appreciate this, I really wanted to get into Dance Rush after the covid lockdown, but it was so difficult finding "tutorial" type videos that also gave a human rundown of the step patterns. And dammit, I keep treating this game like it's DDR and it's so hard to loosen up lol. 🤪

when I hear this game in English voice at first time, I was thinking like "maybe it's voiced by American person." But then, when I search this game on Google and look information on this game at Remywiki. I was surprised that's Sota Fujimori is the one who voiced for Dancerush Stardom in English voice, I thought it was American person who voiced for Dancerush Stardom in English voice, I didn't expect that Sota Fujimori was voiced for this game in English voice. His English is kinda fluent by the way 'w'
😍😍
Would love to play. However, being epileptic, the way more flashing lights and getting to the harder modes will cause way more exhaustion, leading to me getting my disability to occur more. Would want to try butterfly on this.
Wish this was in Oahu...and if it is, then I will go there constantly than being stuck at home playing on my xbox one (PSO2 NGS mostly)
"Let's try another song, like Set Me free, for example" Nice jokes.
too bad we dont have this 😭

Can you make an intermediate tutorial? I know the basics but I don’t think I’m side shuffling the way you’re supposed to at levels 7-8. Greetings from Los Angeles

Btw the two Chinese types are simplified and traditional.
I have question. Im trying to search for Sam Gellaitry Assumptions. But its not appearing in the list ingame. Does it actually exist???
Is it still possible to learn dance like this even without the arcade machine? I want to invest in practicing the dance. Watching many videos of Dancerush Stardom has been inspired me to learn the dance. Haha.

The floor doesn't have to be slippery. It should just be smooth and even. It's possible to practice with bare feet if you find a really good floor or just practicing indoors at home (but not recommended).
