Thing you need to know (i think no one said this) but Jungkook actually performs this in water! It really looks amazing and is even harder to do

You should watch the performance of this so you can see what the different props etc were in the dance practice.

You guys should react to BTS "ON" the dance version of the mv.

Jimin is flexible because when he was stil in school he go to an Art school and go to Ballet classes so his body and moves is smoother than i can walk..🤪

Jimin is has blackbelt in martial arts and practiced since he was young for 7-8 years. Also from his past videos i think he built muscles when he started contemporary dance class. we can see his well built body during his 15 yo dance recital. heh.

Since you guys also freestyle, maybe it would be interesting for you guys to watch jhope do freestyle because he used to compete before he debuted? Now we can only see him freestyle in Hope in the Street, a video series he made where he freestyles and talks about dance and his favorite dancers.

Y’all gotta react to jhope and Jimin dancing compilations.

This is just dance practice for MMA and you guys should react to the actual live performance in MMA. It was amazing performance with fire and water!

Huge difference between contemporary and modern Korean dance. Notice Jimin for example doesn't keep the lines associated with a pirouette when he spins also his lines and shapes aren't contemporary...

The last time he did contemporary was in 2012.. and he was the top in his arts school and the only freshman to receive a scholarship then... 7 years down the road for him to still be able to do pirouettes is pretty good, and if you see the actual live performances he does it better there with more emotions so

Jimin gets his strength and balance from having a blackbelt in 3 martial arts disciplines. He also went to school of arts for his contemporary dancing, which does include ballet. He is a well trained dancer.

J-hope is one of the god tier dancers in KPOP, Jimin is from the next tier and Jungkook and V are from the next one. They've got a strong dance line.

@@macncheezecow833Ik. Okay It's right actually it Isn't mine but someone else's opinion and I should've written whom. And about mixing different styles, that dancer ranked them as Idol dancers. So, i Don't think she mixed contemporary and popping but compared their skills to the idol dancing standards? Idk sis I'm not even a dancer 😫

It makes more sense and u could've understood more the whole meaning of that :( The Jungkook part was with water for example... Right after suga's part that was with Fire... All 7 solo's were connected to the greek concept of dionysus

Loving that you're doing this. But but but. ... Can voices be modulated so that performance music can be heard more clearly? If commenting on background stories of performers, when guessing, please say that? (Jimin's strength comes from dance and martial arts bg, for example. It's Hoseok who did street battles.) Can you bring your experience and knowledge into play, talking about dance moves, choreo design, execution, please? That's what I was looking for. You did that starting about 7.5 minutes in, and it was great! Hope you do more of these. The concept is valuable! A couple of other people are doing dance reactions, but you are the first *group* with real dance knowledge, afaik. You can bring a range of points of views in - that's refreshing. There's a rehearsal/dress rehearsal/backstage for BTS's 2018 MMA 3-track medley performance. The 3 tracks are Fake Love, Airplane pt.2, and Idol. The intro to Idol is a 3-solos piece, danced to Korean folk music. It uses masks and other props as transitonal devices. A lot of the rehearsal video focuses on these 3 solos, which are danced by J-Hope (Hoseok), Jimin, and Jungkook. I would love your reactions to what you see there. Also, to the drone camera rehearsal for ON Kinetic Manifesto, shot as a single 1-camera take, outdoors on lication near LA, no backup dancers present. Thanks for this. Keep it fresh!
