Although they do automatically look to Hobi after making a mistake, Hobi seems kind of embarrassed that they're so scared of him and just laughs it off 😆 although he can be intimidating in dance leader mode he can also be very playful with the members and gives them a lot of praise and encouragement

J-Hope is an amazing leader. The best leaders are the kindest ones. It's because they're so nice that you intrinsically want to please them. I had a manager like this and he was the best example of a manager, similar to Hobi's leadership style. He would point out mistakes, usually in a funny way, and he was overall very encouraging. When he was in charge, the store ran like a tight ship and did very well. Much of BTS success - particularly their recognition for amazing live performances - has a lot to do with Hobi's leadership style, as well as the respect from the members.

I feel like because of his stage name, he always had the pressure to look cheerful in front of the camera, especially during their early days. From multiple interviews and from their interactions with one another, it's not unknown to the world now. Even Hobi admitted himself that he burns out all his energy smiling and goofing around in work that he looks gloomy at home and his parents worry because of that. There was this performance, where Jimin messed up a little in one of their "Idol" performances. Even though Jhope oppa said it's all good, you could see disappointment in his face. He said so to comfort Jimin, but deep down he wasn't satisfied. I'm nowhere near perfectionist but if something doesn't go as planned, it bothers me a lot and I guess it's even worse for someone like Hoseok oppa. (Sorry for the long comment ☠️)
