Feel light as it flows
And
Can't hide the fact that we're both here,
Don't let it go, we're so scared,
(Runnin' rampant round town with my head in the ground)
(But that's just s-u-p-p-o-s-e how it's suppose to be)
(Me in the trunk making audible thumps)
(And we break and we dip and we crash and we fly)
(But it's not really a big deal, I'm a tolerable guy)
(In the age of piss when the old man whistles)
(Yeah I'm late, but don't remind me of our separate pistols.)
(I'm ballistically drunk, I'm a triumphant lump)
(I'm an instant glow ball coffee syrup florist filled gunk)
(That beat is mystically drunk, I'm a triumphant lump)
(I'm an instant glow ball coffee syrup de clog your gunk)
(De clog your gunk,)
(Gunk, drunk, gunk, drunk.)
It's only funny in the back side of love
Well I won't let it break my self-esteem,
It's only funny in the back side of love
(Move on, I caught you instantly.)
(Move on, you stomping elephant.)
But I'd hate, to say no.
When it comes to those beautiful blue eyes.
And I'd hate, to say no,
When it comes to those beautiful fuckin' eyes.
Hold on girl, I promise that we'll have it all,
Hold on girl, I promise that we'll have it all.
(Hello I will talk to you, I have some things to go over with)
(Are you mad?)
(Or spectacular?)
(Yes, yes so so so so fifi fifi)
(Yes but my face has been melted)
(Hello? I will talk to you)
(Are you mad?)
(Or spectacular?)
It's only funny in the back side of love
Well I won't let it break my self-esteem,
It's only funny in the back side of love
(You've got loud as fuck sighs)
(You know how to fake cry)
(You've got that ostrich beak that's lowering your skill in sneak)
(You got you got you got me.)

Out of all of Jonny's choruses, this one takes the cake. His powerful voice, the melodic guitars, the epic drumming.. everything flows fucking perfectly.

I think his choruses sounded better in DBM1. This is probably one of his better ones from this album (as I think were overall kinda weak, but with some sweet spots (Pounce Bounce!!! ^~^)), but I'll take his DBM1 performance any day.

David Pottinger I think DBM1 as a whole outshines this album no doubt. This chorus though, I can't get over it.

Huge DMB1 fan here but I have to agree. This one definitely matches the best choruses from the first album; my favorites probably being Turn Off The Lights I'm Watching Back to the Future and Antlion. In saying that, DMB2 is pretty hit or miss for me... some songs are absolutely amazing (including this one), whereas some are just plain awful imo. But even so, Jonny Craig could produce an album of him singing the fucking phone-book and I'd pay to listen.

I love those lyrics because in the previous song's outro, Jonny calls his girlfriend (presumably very early on the AM) and asks her the color of her eyes in a sort of dickish way. You can surmise he's singing directly about/to her. You know he must've gotten some good ass off this lol

"Runnin' rampant round town with my head in the ground, but that's just s-u-p-p-o-s-e how's it supposed to be, me in the trunk making audible thumps. And we break and we dip and we crash and we fly, but it's not really a big deal I'm a tolerable guy. In the age of piss where the old man whistles, yeah I'm late but don't remind me of our separate pistols." I always rap with Will on this part.
