Making Gina Carano vs Ronda Rousey is stupid from a matchmaking perspective, but genius from a business standpoint, imo. I like Gina, but she'd get demolished in the first round. I'd rather see Tate vs Carano and Rousey vs Zingano. Carano / Rousey would be nice, but only after Carano proves herself with a few fights since I'd imagine she'd be rusty.

***** He did go into the 3rd too confident and it caused him the fight. That being said 28 extra seconds sitting at rest is a advantage anyway you look at it.

it was the ufc cutman who fucked up, not romero, and kennedy cheated in the 2nd round by grabbing romero's gloves to land the uppercuts that rocked him, kennedy cheated not romero, he lost fair and square.

GBDazzler I have been saying the exact same thing! Kennedy had no real joy throughout the fight, and then holds Yoel's glove all of a sudden, he gets some breakthough. So Kennedy plays dirty, but when Yoel plays a lil dirty too, he is the only one getting ridicule?! BS.

You all know that no break is ever 60 seconds right? Normally it averages at 70ish seconds.... So yes he got an extra 20 seconds, but let's be consistent everybody gets more than 60 Also side note Kennedy got the same amount of rest period

Romero even admitted during post fight he "didn't know what was happening". Normally an alert conscious fighter would know exactly what was happening and would know when it was TIME TO FIGHT again! That whole thing messed up Tim's rhythm. The commissioner that said he doubts it changed the outcome of the fight isn't thinking clearly. He is also not a fortune teller. Kennedy was up, thought he won then got caught off guard with all the confusion. Romero got a 2nd chance. This is total bullshit.

28 sec is not enough recovery time for being upper cutted multiple times by a gigantic middleweight former world champ...you wont recover

Answer: about 50% more time to recover. Or are you seriously saying that generously given extra time didnt help Joel at all recovering from the condition he was in? Of course it did. And even if it didnt, any extended resting time should not be given (at all) when bell rings for another round. Either way, Tim was robbed. Joel was saved by bell and won by another bell wich went to deaf ears. Kinda ironic way to turn the game. Joel did fight well, so nothing against him in that respect.

jeppe jeppinen THAT EXTRA 28 SECONDS HELPED THE GAS TANK OF BOTH FIGHTERS. NOTHING MORE NOTHING LESS. ANYONE WHO HAS EVER BEEN ROCKED KNOWS IT ONLY TAKES A FEW SECONDS TO GET YOUR WITS BACK. HIS COBWEBS WERE CLEAR BY THE TIME THE SAT DOWN. SO THAT EXTRA TIME DID LITTLE OR NOTHING "TO HELP HIM RECOVER" . AND IF ROMERO WAS TRULY "OUT ON HIS FEET" THE REF WOULD HAVE STOPPED IT DURING THE BREAK.

BUCK TURNER Then if it was not about recovering why did he stay down? Wether it helped him or not is not the issue, especially even when he deserved to get a point deduction at the very least. Not getting up to fight means the fight should be over.. Helped him or not its the RULE. Yea because its BIOLOGICALLY impossible to be stunned for more than a minute right? You never been rocked because only MMA pros keep going after several seconds when rocked and make it look like they are recovering within the round. What about the possibility that Yoel could have fought when the bell rung but wanted more than just to recover he wanted to regain energy I have fought my brothers and even I know this. And Kennedy/Romero's "gas tank" wasn't the issue here, just because they both had time to recover each of their breath is irrelevant because Romero's gas tank wasn't even the god dam problem..it was the fact that he had more time to recover from taking damage to his fucking brain. There is no way in the world that his cobwebs cleared up by the time he sat down, HE WAS LEANING ON THE CAGE the entire time before he sat down. If he was so cleared up why wasn't he starting to stand up when Kennedy was up and ready to go?
