Lol Izzy literally did nothing. At least Romero landed several solid punches, got 1-2 take-downs, landed several body and leg kicks. Izzy just sat back and threw a leg kick every so often. I don't even think he landed a punch the entire fight.

Exactly, generally 2 counter strikers end up being “boring fights” to the casual eye because they don’t know what they are actually looking at. I had it yoel 4-1 and then I rewatched it twice now I have it 5-0 yoel. izzy did nothing at all atleast yoel made a effort to push forward he was even throwing his hands in the air like what do u want me to do he keeps running form me yoel came out in the first round and did not engage much but izzy did nothing round 1 and then yoel atleast tried to move forward but everytime he got even remotely close izzy ran literally

@@msders - izzy challenged Romero and talked forever about retiring him. And Romero fought as he always does. He is a slow started and waits for counter. He fought the same way as when he fought Costa, and that was one of the greatest fights ever. Cause Costa wasn't afraid of being hit, like izzy. Also, for eg, DC v Stipe 2, DC initiated most and won the rounds he I initiated in, despite being the champ. That's no excuse.

Hardcore fans always calling each other casuals because of this and that.. The biggest of fans should know they’re called _viewers_ and this sport can’t survive at this level without them.

I don't think the main event was as boring as people think. Sure there sure weren't a lot of strikes, and there was no contact for over 2 minutes, but it was still pretty tense knowing that the fight could be ended at any second. I was just disappointed that Romero basically blamed Adesanya for running away, which wasn't really true, but even if it was, Romero can't blame his opponent for that when all he had to do was be more aggressive and attack. Why didn't he push during the championship rounds? That was the only disappointing part to me. Other than that, I didn't mind the fight.

You know the main event weren’t as good when Yoel still has a gas tank at the end of the fight😂😂he honestly should have emptied it round 5 and went for broke smh🤦🏾‍♂️

The Challenger fought as if he does not need the belt. It is usually the Challenger that draws the champion to fight even if he does not want because the champion must defend his belt on the realization that it was slipping away.

The Co-Main was so good that I'll forgive the main. And Dana was right, Yoel didn't want to fight .

Dana knows Adesanya could be a big star for the UFC, he would have slated Woodley for that performance
