The fact that Brandon Moreno broke his hand in rd 1 and fought to a decision is wild. His fighter spirit is unmatched. I could watch him fight on a daily basis if it were possible. Dana please make a 4th fight happen IN Mexico. He might've lost the decision but he looked like the better fighter out there and I could see his improvement defending takedowns and submissions. Same for Dan Hooker, broke his wrist and would've never known if Dana didn't tell us.

Volk might just be the best fighter I've ever watched. He's so unbelievably well-rounded. He can out-strike elite strikers, he can wrestle/grapple with elite wrestlers. He can maintain a pace very few others can & his determination to win is on another level. Just special.

Last night was honestly one of the best UFC cards ever. Top to bottom. Great matchups, lots of excitement, wars, knockouts… 🔥 🔥 🔥 first time I don’t regret paying for the Ppv

Really impressive that DDP, after a tiring/painful fight, was able to on the spot respond to Izzy’s pre-planned lines. “You’re no brother of mine” and “how do you explain your brothers in New Zealand?” Wow, how did he think of that stuff instantly like that with the world watching and Izzy right in his face? I love Izzy, but he took the mic after Joe asked DDP a question and that was messed up. Izzy’s voice also sounded different, maybe tipsy? Maybe hoarse from cheering on Hooker?

This absolutely was the best card this year. One of the best cards i ever seen. And idc it's 3-0, you absolutely do Pantoja vs Moreno again. Mainly because of how close it was. But Moreno absolutely could've won that. If he would've fought with his head and not his heart he'd still be champ. Mf just kept letting it turn back into a grappling match over and over again when it was pretty clear he could've probably boxed his way to a title defense. But absolute war from both. I think Hooker vs Turner should've got a little extra money too, that was a banger as well.

This card was legendary. We’re going to look back on these historic moments. Adesanya vs Du Plessis next, more history in the making

Volk vs Topuria In Madrid would be huge fight And would be great to take UFC to the level.

Volk definitely the pinnacle of the "well rounded" fighters who grew up with MMA as an organized pursuit. he's not as flashy as Rory MCdonald was in his heyday but still, it's impressive all the same.

was jumping during the Hooker v Turner fight, crying with the Whittaker v DDP, sleeping during r4 and 5 of Moreno v Pantoja and impressed with volk

One of the best cards of all time! Now looking towards 291! Man we are so lucky as fans

MEGA card. One of the best I've seen in a long time. So many takeaways. Volk is approaching GOAT status, Co-Main was one of the best fights I've ever seen, gutted for Whittaker, how did Hooker eat that headkick AND win the round?! (should have got FOTY as well as the Co-Main), Bo Nickal's got serious hands, Lawler's dream retirement fight. Gaddamn.......

Volk is a freak plain & simple I dont see him losing again not at FW anyway. Moreno is a savage for fighting with a broken hand fight of the year candidate for sure so far. Duplesis is the real deal after finishing Robert he looked impressive. Hooker is also a savage for that comeback win This card was the best this year in my opinion awesome fights.

How was it sold out? I checked for tickets at 11am and they still had some for sale (not resale)

That's awesome. I'm glad Dana gave Volk that respect to say they are down for Volk to basically do whatever he wants to do.

Bro, I knew Volk was gonna get it done, but he made it look easy! He took down Rodriguez like nothing. I truly thought Moreno had all the skills and technique to get that win, didn’t his corner tell him that he was down on the score card? He just couldn’t seem to capitalize on hurting Pantoja. I was pretty surprised about Robert Whittaker, didn’t think he’d lose. I thought Jalin was winning that fight and then Hooker just came back from no where and that was easily my favorite fight of the night. The whole card was fantastic, me and my boys stayed at home, ordered some pizza and just drank the night away, had a great time.

Apparently Moreno had hurt his arm (something broken) after 1st round. Volk is a different speciment. No matter how good these up and coming fighters are, Volk is levels above everyone in that division. Topuria will be his hardest test in division, he is shorter so harder to take down, has some of the best boxing in entire division and has bricks for hands. Yair was overhyped because of his kicks, but like with Wonderboy, that can only get you so far. I feel that Whittaker fighting so rarely played against him. Ring rust and no hunger compared to DDP. Glad to see people enjoying the card with family and friends, few things better than having a night in watching some UFC

Probably the best co-main / card that I've ever seen that I wasn't even excited for or cared for , that co-main and main event great , the Moreno fight instant classic 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 volk is a beast and I'm glad he when out there and took a page from Frankie Edgar's fight with yair and didn't play rock'em sock'em with him

I'll watch these if you cut out the first part with John's questions.

I wasn’t a huge Volk fan and it was because I was a Max Holliway fan and never gave him a chance but after the 3rd loss for Max I started to really follow him and appreciate Volk he really is an all time great you can to take that away from him

This card was absolutely outstanding, up all night in the UK. Last 4 fights could have been main events.

Volk is just on another level from everyone. Dude is a killer. my money will be on Volkanovski if he rematches Islam.
