I was in the audience- a lot of us did say no to writing numbers because (for me at least) we didn’t. But- others might of. They did tell us before hand to - not sure when it happened. As for planting people- that didn’t happen. My friend caught the ball, he was my guest, he was not told to do anything it was completely random.

Fun fact: compare Dan’s handwriting of “2444” on the board with the “2444” he claims to have written beforehand inside the paper ball. Also the first three numbers, which conveniently add up to 11000, with the “2653” (compare the 2s for example). Great trick!

Also, the process for the Roots selecting their numbers was forced as well. There's no way that each of them had a different number. Either they all had 2653, or one of the first three numbers was duplicated and nobody had 2653.

@TheDibule

Ben Lebofsky Either the same number or the first three, repeated several times. These 3 numbers add up to 11000, it doesn’t matter which one the Roots get. But at least one of them is repeated, which is why we never see their numbers. The 4th one, the one below the black line or crease, no one gets it, because it’s written or printed AFTERWARDS, to match the numbers given by the 4 spectators (13653-11000=2653).

There’s obviously a clever gimmick, like a mini printer, to write ‘2653’ from inside the box AFTER the spectators say their numbers. And probably a paperball switching off camera (‘we’ll dispose of that paper for you, thank you, oh no sorry take it back, you still need it’). The rest is acting! Great job Mr White!

Okay, so here is my guess how he did it. He swapped that stack of numbers to the set with only 1218, 7240, 2542 written on them (they add up to 11 000) -- so all of them sat down because they could only have had one of those numbers. Then he gave out instructions to the first person such that the big number would be >= 11000 and

Abracadabra pooof tadaaa! 👌👍😉😄😄😄
Miss, Sir, Sir, Ughmm Same Question😂😂
So easy to see through this. They get the audience to write numbers down. He then has a second pile of numbers he uses in place of them, and that pile only has 4 numbers in it (The ones he writes on the board). That's why he flashes though them so quick. The Roots all have one of those numbers (probably a couple with duplicates). That's why they never show what numbers each of them have. He adds them up to make the number he needs for the math to work. He has already set the number in the paper ball, that wasn't random. Then the math all works easily.

What are u talking about? How does he get the 4 audience members to pick those numbers?

How?!?
@CJ-gy8ie
4 жыл бұрын
The only obvious part to me is the part with the Roots. The full stack of cards at the beginning only had 4 options to choose from. Those four options were written on that sheet of paper that was pulled out of the first envelope. The reason they didn't show their cards to other people is because those cards MAY have repeated, revealing what I'm disclosing right now. The rest of the trick, I have no clue...
@bbxdesign
4 жыл бұрын
@@CJ-gy8ie I think you're onto something. But I think there are only 3 options to choose from. If you look at 4:09, the third number "2542" is written quite differently. I believe that one was somehow written afterwards, in the envelope. The other 3 actually add up to "11,111" which should make calculations easier I guess? Anyway, you have 3 numbers that add up to 11,111. Then you get this genuinely random number 13,653. You get the difference, which is 2542, and get it written down on the piece of paper in the envelope. The 2444 I don't get though, because it's also a variable, since it has to be substracted to get the Brooklyn zip code.
@Vneseplayer4
4 жыл бұрын
Jeremy Thomas it’s either like you said, numbers 1, 2, 4 add up to 11,111, or the first three numbers add up to 10,000. But I don’t know how he wrote the 4th number on there. He would have to write 2444 at some point as well
I know I am stupid but why make me feel that way?!
@Tantalus010
4 жыл бұрын
You know, "stupid" isn't a permanent state; that's just what whiners like to believe so that they have a convenient excuse not to improve themselves. I don't know what it was in this video that made you feel stupid, but whatever it is, you can get better at it so that you don't feel that way anymore.
