Me as an atheist also loves his talent. Fantastic version of this great tune.

This kid is fantastic! I’m a metal head, Christian and big Elvis fan and I can’t believe I’m saying this; he blew Elvis out of the water and I think Elvis would be the first to applaud this young man!

Dan VASCONCELOS, with that version, has become a Champion for God. This version of amazing Grace will turn countless hearts back to our savior Jesus Christ.

Listen to him sing opera sometime! He's the best singer on the planet! I love David from Disturbed too, but Dan's voice gives me chills every time I hear him sing. Some of that reaction you feel is the Holy Spirit moving in you, drawing you to Him. To God be the glory!

Dan Vasc has a God given talent & is obviously using it to share His message. His father gave him a harmonica when he was 7 years old. He lost his dad in 2017 to cancer, so when he plays it, it's a tribute to him.

G'day Caroline, Update: this video has over 3 million views and climbing since he dropped it around Good Friday, and last time I looked, Dan has over 760,000 subs... it'll be interesting to see how long it takes to get him to the 1 million mark!?... This bloke is The best I've heard in yonks and I reckon it'll take some to knock him off that perch, and I also reckon there's not much out there that he can't wrap that fabulous laughin' gear around... he's got everything from metal to opera on channel and it's glorious!!!🤩😍🥰 🙃🐨🇦🇺

He also recorded Elvis’ Love Me Tender AS A GIFT to a fan who reached out to him whose husband was terminally ill and had asked Dan if she could use his cover of American Trilogy at the funeral, his response, post Love Me Tender just for them. What an incredibly compassionate and loving thing to do not to mention that’s how to nurture a devoted fan base 😊

Indeed, besides his exquisite voice and talent, Dan is a Christian with a huge good heart.

As my Mamma would say "Lord have mercy Jesus Christ!" That man is absolutely incredible! A true talent!

Listened to an interview with him this morning. He's a 34-year old Brazilian conservative, a Christian, REFUSED to wear the mask even ONCE during CV19, REFUSED the jab, REFUSED to work with the mainstream music industry and that's why he's on KZread only, was banned on Twitter due to conservative remarks, is a capitalist, and respects Trump greatly. I don't think I could ask for anything more! It also shows that God doesn't care what kind of music style you prefer. In fact, I'm sure God and the angels stand up and applaud whenever THEY hear him perform this! God will meet us WHEREVER and WHOEVER we are...RIGHT where/who we are!

When it comes to a song like Amazing Grace, you can tell when someone is just singing it because it's a popular song and then there are performances like this, when you can tell the singer is feeling it all the way to their soul and that is when the performance becomes something more and this sets the bar.

Birdman, speaking of David Draiman, Dan Vasc actually covered Disturbed’s cover of “The Sound of Silence”. (a cover of a cover) In the same style David did. Dan also does a *phenomenal* cover of “Gethsemane” from ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’. His rendition blows both Ted Neeley’s and Ian Gillan’s right out of the water. So full of raw emotion, and a real treat for rock opera lovers. Both songs are on his channel.

I must have watched this 50+ times since stumbling on it less than 48 hours ago, mind blown every time. So much to say but what gets me every time is his diction, we hear every syllable crystal clear and YET ENGLISH is not his native tongue, HE’s BRAZILIAN!! Since watching this a gazillion times I’ve watched dozens of his covers including Queen’s Bo Rhap (yes, he sings all the parts), I Want It All and The Show Must Go On. Added to these I’ve watched his covers of Don’t Stop Believing, Livin’ On A Prayer, You Give Love A Bad Name, Sweet Child O’ Mine and many, many more. Have not found a dud to date! Dan is the man! I just recently discovered him and I've been listening to him ever since and I just keep being amazed by his talent. Plus, he is just seems like a cool guy!

When I first heard Dan sing Amazing Grace a few days ago, it reached into my very soul. I have heard it sung many times and I have sung it many times but this rendition touched me like only one other song has. That was David Draiman singing Sounds of Silence. I didn’t think another song could move me like that one but Dan did it with Amazing Grace. ♥️

His dads harmonica and favorite song. Love how he stands still and just sings. Every word is perfectly clear and pronounced.. He did the Star Spangled Banner and got a lot of flack. Then he made an apology video. It's great!!

Dan is a Brazilian Christian, musician, and songwriter. He has a band Fearless, but he mostly sings solo covers of many genres. You should listen to Make a Man Out of You, My Heart Will Go On, Music of the Night, Angels We Have Heard on High and on and on He has over 200 videos available. All fantastic.

I have two idols for their pure talent and amazing voices. Dan Vasc and Dimash kudaibergen. They are both classically trained and Dimash is on his way to get a doctorate in musicology. He also sings in several languages and sings different genres and plays 7 instruments. Like Dan he also sings opera. His most famous song is from a French rock opera. S.O.S. a cry from a human in despair. Then you could also react to Ogni Pietra, which he sang for the opening of Olympics. You can put on translations to see the motivation of the lyrics. There are too many songs too mention. Dan Vasc also sings Gethsemane from Jesus Christ Superstar in the most awesome way with so much emotion its unreal he would have played the role of Jesus better than Ted Neeley.

I absolutely agree with you Birdman, the only other version I'm in love with is from The Snake Charmer. She does bagpipes and this version of Amazing Grace was played at my Mother's funeral. This version with Dan Vasc IS set to be played at my funeral along with The Snake Charmer's version as well. Dan has an absolutely amazing voice!

Also, metal isn’t of the devil, metal heads just speak against everything they don’t think is right in the world. At times with some extreme display. I grew up a roman catholic and stepped away from the church because of the institution. I wish christians would at least do their own research on things that are deemed of the devil before they take on that dogma. It is called common sense.😊
