Dan has gone through depression himself. So, he knows well how bad it can be. Also, after a while he decided to check the lyrics of songs better and just sing texts that empower people.

Thank you so much for listening to what Dan had to say at the end of his video. He is a great advocate for mental health awareness and mentions it in several of his videos. He understands people’s needs having suffered himself in the past and I really appreciate his willingness to open up about it. EPIC! In all aspects this is epic. His interpretation of the song, and your interpretation of him. EPIC!!!

This one is new to me today, 11/07/23,&it made me feel so selfish in my depression with many physical health issues& feeling useless also, caught in the limbo state of Alzheimer's for 14 years I can't explain the difference n my long experience &those of others who've gone through so very quickly. I've clung to every scrap of ME that have been able to,as thoughts of not being with my husband, our kids&our so very precious grandaughter's are so painful, YET my not being the ME I was &seeing disappointment in their eyes hurts, YET when I'm able to spend an hour with on good days their delight fills me with so much love&peace❣️But WHO lives in my head is like Pacman gobbling dots up&then along comes Ms.Pacman laying the pieces down again&I'm just watching to see who wins, as the rest of health issues do their thing to make me weaker. Dan Vasc appeared out of blue 1day when I was feeling desperately alone,on FB when turned phone on, singing AMAZING GRACE, & he saved me that day&several other desperate days since, each time 1st thing that pops up,&ALWAYS a video that gets me to a far better spot for the day❣️He skillfully lives out the meanings to the songs he has chosen to put his mark on, not just by singing them, but by all of his body&facial expressions. I've always been an Elvis fan& seeing DanVasc do his music as superbly as he does has led me to as many of Dan's videos of any song as I am able to sit &watch,of ANY genre. I can't do anything else when he's singing as I may miss the CRITICAL look on his face that pulls the whole thing all together! He's able to sing&express real feelings into every thing I've seen him do&that is joy to anger to fun to sorrow to FIGHT&WIN, to peace&my heartbeat flows with music&depth of emotion. He exhausts me with the energy he lets flow out,literally!! I LOVE His old sea ballads&those of lore, in ancient battles❣️I love His hair &looks that could be seen in a battle as fierce warrior as well as his gentleness in a love song &innocence he is still able to show. So many artists get to where they are singing a song AGAIN, &it shows! I realize his videos have been made through many years,after years of tough training&work, but He&His band are superior in all they bring to their fans& I pray they are blessed by continuing to do so for as long as their ❤️s desire to do so. This fan has been so very grateful that GOD chooses to give me wake up calls with uniqueness of Dan's gifts most especially on days I'm weighing my realities&I choose love am blessed to give on days I'm able to hug&laugh, tickle&giggle w/our 4youngest 😇s,13.5,Ani,9.5,Maci,8.5,Bristol &6Masyn&to also RECEIVE ALL THEY GIVE FREELY IN LOVE&😘🤗,to their MIMI,who they do MISS when they aren't able to see me, for reassurance that MIMIZ still here needing them as they need her,whatever state that day finds any one of us❣️THAT IS a REALIZATION I've received from DanVasc,with GOD'S TIMING❣️
