I’m glad you’ve discovered the phenomenal Dan. But- very important, he does NOT metalize everything by any means. Dan has extensive classical as well as metal training, and sings everything from ballads to Broadway to Christmas to 80s rock to folk songs to opera. If he metalizes an ordinary song, he states that. So if you check out Scarborough Fair you’ll see that it’s absolutely straight. (And beautiful.) So is The Music of the Night, or Faithfully (Journey), or Nessun Dorma. But his metalized songs are brilliant- his Witcher covers, especially Burn Butcher Burn, Seal’s A Kiss from a Rose (duet)! Adele’s Rolling in the Deep, Angels We Have Heard on High, and the stunning Amazing Grace, to name a few. And don’t worry- he’s very careful about his voice (he even taught voice for a while years ago), so I’m sure his recent bodybuilding obsession won’t hurt it. He set out when he was 20 to become a great singer, and he’s accomplished that. You just need more exposure to grasp how great! Thanks - I’m looking forward to more Dan on your channel.

I agree with everything said in comments. His vocals are powerful and clear. you will find that you can't just react to one song, once you fall in the rabbit hole you will not want to go back. He can sing any any genre as you will quickly see. Dan doesn't just sing the song, he is the song and puts every bit of emotion into the words weather it a ballad or upbeat tune he makes it his own. Enjoyed this reaction very much. Dan doesn’t use back up singers which leads me to believe he works his genius ass off. Some people have said he does but emphatically no. Even when you listen to some of his older videos, he was amazing back then. Hallelujah from Handel’s Messiah and Bohemian Rhapsody are examples. Dan does all the backup singing! His capabilities to sing so many genres is mind blowing.

And I'm a 70 year old lady who has never listened to Heavy Metal until Dan showed up on my feed a year ago. Dan has a large vocal range. Great reaction. New subscriber here. I'm a proud member of "Vasc Nation" ever since hearing Dan's release of Amazing Grace in April of last year. You mentioned his cover of Scarborough Fair - which is awesome (but he doesn't 'metalize' it -- he also does some acoustic music). Seriously though, pick anything from Dan's catalog and you won't be disappointed. He could sing the phone book and it would still be amazing. Another reactor (Viking Reacts) frequently says that, "Dan becomes the song." He's so right. Looking forward to more reactions to Dan's music.
