Let me tell you a few things about Dan (Daniel) Vasc (Vasconcelos), he´s another amazing Brazilian singer who I am sure is going to surprise you in many different ways, each cover seems better than the last one. He has reached the 1 million followers recently and he´s on his way to many, many more. Here´s something else, he´s been offered a record deal, however declined as what they were offering was a 10% profit of the total earnings with no creative control at all so he decided to go on KZread and work with covering songs with his on spin on most of them. Yes! Then there's another of his Christmas offerings: "Angels We Have Heard on High" which is sung in four languages (five, actually): V1 =Italian; V2 = German; V3 = Brazilian Portuguese (his native language); V4 = English; PLUS all the "Glorias" (as usual) are sung (with perfect breath control) in Latin. It is utterly fantastic!

Oh yes, I've heard Amazing Grace many times and it was good. But this Amazing Grace by Dan Vasc is absolutely amazing and uniquely beautiful in this form. Dan Vasc has the great talent and the voice to metalize any song. Either just metal or pop/rock songs with metal, opera or folk songs without metal. See for yourself, you'll be amazed. I've subscribed and look forward to more songs from Dan. Maybe with a bit of metal, the song "Oh Holy Night"...... It's actually a hit not just at Christmas time 🤘😆 or Pokerface from Lady Gaga 🤘

I don't know who's grin was bigger, yours or mine from watching you discover Dan's awesome voice and being reminded of my 1st time hearing him via this hymn last year. Welcome to the Dan Vasc rabbit hole. I look fwd to seeing you react to another one of his videos. Wait until you see what he's done to Christmas songs like Angels We Have Heard on High, O Holy Night, Adeste Fideles (O Come All Ye Faithful in Latin), & the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel's Messiah. His Witcher covers are phenomenal after Dan's metal conversion of each one. Definitely check out his metal cover of Seal's "Kiss From a Rose" as a duet with Violet Orlandi. For his more operatic ventures, you have to hear Dan's version of "Nessun Dorma", his Phantom of the Opera covers, and his duet with Rhen Stillnight performing Bocceli/Brightman song "Time to Say Goodbye". Dan also does awesome covers of Iron Maiden songs "The Trooper", "Two Minutes to Midnight," & "The Number of the Beast." There are so many more to discover even after that, though. 😀 Great reaction! You’ve met the phenomenal Dan, Mr. Opera meets Metal. Dan doesn’t like Death Metal either, BTW. He once wrote something like, “If you listen to dark nihilistic crap sung by losers, then that’s what you’ll be!” Dan has extensive vocal training in both classical and metal techniques, so he can basically sing almost anything. His “metalizations” of the Witcher songs are all great and all different - my favorite is the spectacular Burn Butcher Burn. Other suggestions are I’ll Make a Man Out of You, Seal’s A Kiss from a Rose (as a duet), and My Heart Will Go On. He also does lots of non-metal performances. I see you noticed Gethsemane - highly recommended! You can’t go wrong with Dan. I’m looking forward to your next encounter!

BTW...Dan's last (shortened -- as you showed) (Brazilian) name is pronounced as if you were saying, "Ask me a question": Dan VASK. Both he and his brother Davi (who is the bass player in their four-man band, FEARLESS) use the shortened version "Vasc," rather than the longer, full version "Vasconcelos." If you like video gaming, you might also like to check out Davi's two channels. On his main channel, he mainly reacts to HEARING the game-playthroughs that are sent to him. Without SEEING the action on the screen, that viewers get to see, he takes apart the music that is playing behind the scene, and tells what HE feels is happening in the playthrough. He's VERY accurate, and he has a TREMENDOUS grasp on music theory, that he simplifies so that pretty much anyone can understand why he makes the decisions that he does. He also is the lead singer for the Brazilian band Angra. Fabio was on tour in Brazil in mid-2022. He got in touch with Dan, and asked if he could get together with him and do that song with him, as a duet. He didn't have a lot of time that he could use, in order to do that, but they managed their very special "meet-up," and FEARLESS provided the accompaniment. So if you react to that video, you'll not only get to hear Davi play (WOW!!!), you'll also get to meet Gabriel Belozi (any type of guitar), and Giovanni Rezende (FABULOUS drummer). Plus you'll get to see Dan be EXTREMELY and WONDERFULLY happy and joyful!!! 😀

Huge Dan Vasc fan here and subbed! Dan is so versatile and fantastic. I’m a metalhead at heart but my favorite Dan performances are Nessun Dorma by Puccini (all opera) and Gethsemane from Jesus Christ Superstar. Music of the Night from Phantom of the Opera is great too. But in all honesty, everything our Dan does is incredible! Hail VascNation ❤

Enjoyed your reaction. New subscriber in the hopes of seeing more reactions to Dan. Like you, this song was my first introduction to Dan (last year) and I was immediately hooked. You can't go wrong with anything he does, but since you specifically mentioned his Witcher covers and his performance of Gethsemane, go ahead and do those next! His first Witcher cover was "Toss a Coin to your Witcher" I also love his "Burn Butcher Burn" and -both- of his covers of Priscilla's Song (from the Witcher game) -- he first did a metal cover of that one, then went back and did an entirely acoustic version. As far as Jesus Christ Superstar - his version of Gethsemane is my absolute favorite. Head down the Dan Vasc rabbit hole (pronounced with a hard "K" sound at the end - so like "mask") You won't be disappointed. Dan could sing the phone book and it would still be amazing.

Loved your reaction and am subbing for more Dan ... lots more Dan! 😮😮😅😊 Dan's name, Vasc, sounds like mask, is short for Vasconselos. 😊 Dan's first love is power synphonic metal, which he does a lot of, including many non metal songs that he makes metal! I am new to your channel and have subscribed. As a Dan Vasc fan (I discovered him through Amazing Grace a year ago) I, too, was skeptical about a metal singer tackling this song, but was I ever surprised and delighted. And the more of his music I watched, the more I grew to love his style. He sings many different genres and is masterful at all of them. You mentioned the Witcher series songs and Gethsemane from Jesus Christ Superstar, and all of these are outstanding. You will get to see more sides to this artist. Also, his cover of I'll Make a Man Out of You from the Disney Mulan movie, is so much fun and full of surprises that you will love. He is from Brazil, has been classically and modern music trained, and even sings opera quite amazingly well. (Nessun Dorma).
