Didn't know he was British. Lots of British actors on American shows lately and they all kill it. It looks so easy for them to switch their accents. He is great in Legion!

MysticMavi for me it was extremely obvious he was British when I saw Legion. Brits have a really forced obvious American accent e.g. see Fassbender and Cumberbatch.

It's still him,the only part of Beast that is CGI is his clothes,his fur,his teeth,his tail,his horns,but his body movements,his voice,his eyes,his facial expressions are all him.

Agreed... Yes he was a big part of the show and sad way had to kill character off but way involved in show no other way but did open up new story lines. It seems like out of the group of actors from downton cast he is the one who is really standing out now due to role diversity compared to others who are just known as their character from the show.

Eduardo It's the best show on television now, no contest. And I might even go so far as saying it's the best show that ever was on television. But it's a very intelligent show, and an intentionally confusing one, so if you're not willing to be confused and try to figure things out and get things wrong, you won't like it xD

I watched the premiere and couldn't stand the show!! Maybe it's because it was 2 episodes and it went on for too long, maybe it's because I haven't watched a superheroes show before, or simply because I don't read comics and I'm used to big budget movies about this heroes. I'll probably give it another try once my series calendar slows down a bit and I get more time.

+Eduardo I think the problem might be that you're trying to see this as a superhero show. It's not, really. The superhero stuff is just the backdrop, but the theme and style and allure of this show is as a psychological thriller. If you're going in expecting action sequences and good vs evil and heroes vs villains and CGI battles...well, there's a bit of that, but if that's your focus, you're missing the point. If, however, you go in expecting a surreal world where there's no true and false, no right or wrong, no real or fake... where everything is open to interpretation and your interpretation is often wrong, but that's okay because even the *characters'* interpretations are wrong... if you go in expecting an insanity-filled experience with mutants rather than a superhero show... *then* you're watching it as it was intended :) And that's the best way to view this show :)

Lost 40 lbs and buffed up. Now, he still works out in gym, but not exaggerated as he had to really go all out to be ripped in The Guest. Now, he's just very, very thin. 6 feet and only about 160 lbs.

I can't believe Seth just said 'it was great'... u kidding? the 1st ep was INSANE... then the next ones were even better, it's unreal...

After watching Dan Steven’s in “The Guest” I am utterly convinced he would be a brilliant James Bond …

He's still 6'0 feet tall. But losing so much weight, he sometimes looks frail, and not as formidable as he did in Downton Abbey.

This show is so fn great. Even if you aren't a comic book fan you will love the show

He's simply gorgeous, no matter his weight, but I think he's too skinny and found him much more appealing as the "softer" Matthew Crawley. But honestly, he's insanely beautiful no matter the weight or look.

Of course!!! But he is so grounded as a human being, he is sweet, intelligent and down-to-earth. Very well regarded in the industry, much like Tom Hanks. Just a really good actor and a really good guy.

When he needs his accent, he turns it right on. He also speaks fluent French and fluent German. You should see "Hilde", a movie made in German with English subtitles. He is utterly convincing speaking German, uncanny. I've had German friends swear his accent is as real as any native German.

Less English charm here & more American. Mixed feelings. 🦁
