I'm a young film student from Romania wanting to be a director, I moved from a small town from the north into the loud and trashy capital in south, just to pursue what I love. I have been struggling with the money, moving around, no friends and I fucking love all of it. The fucking desperation, juxtaposition of loneliness and hope it's pure gold and I know for a fact some day I will miss it because I will accomplish all and there will be no hunger, and hunger is the key. This song describe the situation I'm in so much, I just can't grasp it fully sometimes because is that good. Thank you, sir!

Going to my first gig by Dan Patlansky at the local pub cost me a distinction for my degree. I missed the thesis deadline and never looked back. It was the right decision. He opened a new door

Totally man, saw him about 5 years ago at Die Stoep in Nelspruit, when he was wearing a beanie and the image merchants had not got to him yet, had a few tequilas even though he's not a drinker, come a long way, been voted in the top 5 blues and top 10 for a few years now, played with Joe Satriani, awesome talent, and such a humble man.

I find myself with head down, swinging side to side, eyes closed, with an occassional slap to my knee in 4/4 rythm. Blues baby. Blues.

Im not mad any more at anything in my life after hearing this It just took all negative things out of me Hello from Palestine 🇵🇸

I have never heard such music before. it will be most beautifull music ever.

When he first starts playing up until he starts singing what I'm getting or what it sounds a lot like to me is Clapton's playing on the Rush soundtrack. When he gets into the solo there's definitely a very strong Stevie Ray Vaughn influence in there without a doubt!! I just ran across this guy literally when I clicked on this video. The only thing I can't understand is why have I never heard of this guy!! His playing is phenomenal and he has a fantastic blues voice!!

I saw Dan support Joe Satriani a few years ago and he was awesome. I saw him again in a small venue close to home where there was only a hundred or so people who just happened to be all the musicians in all the local bands I know. Ten foot away and it was just sublime.

That solo was to die for😪😭

I saw Dan playing for the first time ten years ago in a small venue called "Fogey's" above the Muizenberg train station. This song was the stand out. I'd never seen anyone handle a guitar like that before. I guess you say from that night on I became a student of the blues. Love this guy to bits. So very talented and a really cool fella.

For some, this gives a good start to their day and for others, a good way to see off the day.
