@@Warex06 It was during the Pandemic and I remember SportsCenter had Chael on after the fight and he was trying to say Hooker won lol Hooker won first two rounds and almost knocked him out in the second. Then Poirier went off in the last three. That's a HOF fight no one remembers.

I have never went bad on hooker. I absolutely loved his power at 145. I was so excited he was going to be healthier moving to 155. He is a dog that always brings it. He fights anyone anytime. He didn’t see his family for months because he made sacrifices to fight during a pandemic. He’s a fucking man. He runs a great gym. He’s got incredible wit and conversational humor in interviews and podcasts. Hooker is one of those guys you want to be friends with. “Just a flesh wound”

The thing about Hooker is, he doesnt break mentally in fight. It shows in many fights like against Barboze, Poirier, and now Turner. You have to really knock Hooker out, hit him with something hard so he doesnt get up (like Chandler and Barboza did), otherwise he will come forward all day long. Just imagine Hooker was the one with a broken orbital, broken arm, cut open, and concussed, but Jalin Turner was the one who was mentally broken at the end of round 2. You really have to hurt Hooker bad, otherwise the guy doesnt stop, like Gaethje.

I'm a Kiwi and as rugby is our national game Hooker's Just a Scratch comment reminded me of when I was a kid. Our late, great Colin Meads, nick-named, Pine Tree, or Piney for short, broke his arm about 20 minutes into an 80-minute Test rugby game against our old foe, South Africa. (Dricus country) After the game when it was realized that his arm was broken, he replied, 'Just a scratch,' he informed the media. He played the remaining tests wearing a cast but still, he soldiered on and made a huge impact across the game. Great reply by Dan and skills to him knowing of Pine-Trees famous quote, that game was played before Dan was even born. We're proud of Dan as a human being as much as we are impressed with his heart and his pretty decent fighting ability. Way to go Danno. Skills, cuzz.

During his so called skid. People forget about that’s when Covid restrictions hit NZ. Not able to train fly across the world to a complete different time zone a day before weigh ins and not have his coaches, taking short notice fights not knowing if he could go home. People thought he ran out of cardio in the Dustin fight but he would of been jet lagged

They need to do BMF as a once a year award through voting, 50% fans, 50% fighters on decision and through that you're rewarded a 5 million bonus cheque. I honestly think it will promote even better fights.
