Seems most lightweights are compared to other divisions . I mean Justin and Dustin, Charles and Chandler , just to name a few

Dan vs Dustin is my all time favorite fight. It was just epic. The lockdown era of ufc was savage. You could hear everything, punch, kick, walk, even their breathing. And then ofcourse this era brought another realization of the horror of the fight game in the form of Justin vs Tony. The fact that you could hear everything drove home the fact that this is really a blood spot were the journey to one man's death can only be interrupted by time or one other man. Yeah, that one I will never watch again.

Some fights change a fighter, this one did for Hooker. Never the same since.

When Dustin said "I'm having a blast" you only need to look at Hooker's face.

Such a brutal fight. The COVID no fan era of fights was nasty because you could hear every punch and kick so clear, and this was the best fight of that era

Fun fact: Dustin actually said that he was unconscious for second or two at the end of round 2 after that knee, and you can actually see that Dustin went limp before his back touched the cage there, 2:48. Probably my all time favorite fight in any fight sport.

Absolute fucking warriors. The more you understand about true fighting the more you appreciate a battle like this, unreal performance by both men.

What makes this fight amazing was the sound of those punches , it deserved a crowd but it needed silence, Bisping's best work as a commentator lol.

Those standing hammer fists were effective

I remember watching this fight at the pub at the time. We all commented that this would be life changing for the amount of damage taken during these exchanges. To hear those shots and to hear how excited and also concerned bisping and dom were during the fight, showed is how savage the fight was. Dan hasn't been the same since, and even dustin avoids those massive fire fights now. Much respect to both fighters. epic

This was one of the best ever fights I've watched in my 15+ years of watching the UFC. They were swinging like crazy. Dustin definitely had the upper hand in the end though.

I come back to this fight from time to time and all I can do is thank Dustin and Dan from the bottom of my heart for this performance. Both are equally incredible for withstanding so much and taking this fight to an utter violent, yet beautiful, level. I hate to make this comment too long but what makes it so much more intense is hearing each shot land, hearing the breathing and also hearing everyone's reactions of the strikes of each competitor. It wouldn't be the same with a crowd.
