Dustin Poirier reflects on Dan Hooker fight, future plans | ESPN MMA
Спорт
Dustin Poirier speaks with ESPN MMA’s Ariel Helwani about how he’s feeling after his 5-round battle vs. Dan Hooker at #UFCVegas4. “The Diamond” says he loved fighting in an empty arena and would be fine doing that the rest of his career. Poirier also (15:27) reacts to the comments Khabib Nurmagomedov made after the fight and how after his 2014 loss to Conor McGregor he changed his perspective, which made him happy and stronger overall.

Dustin should switch to boxing. In boxing he can have a big paycheck.
So good to hear real, honest talk for one of the bests. Impossible not to wish him to be champion soon
Love Dustin so much man, out of everyone in the ufc he might be one of the most genuine and major role model
Dustin Poirier is so cool.... Great human!
You've made a mark through multiple generations. Improved greatly. Always entertained and brought it. Seriously dude congrats well done.
This is a brilliant conversation. Dustin's growth as an athlete has been exceeded by his growth in stature
Decent, down to earth, humble and a great fighter. No need for trash of BS. I wish fighters like this get the amount of compensation and respect they deserve.
Dustin is such a good guy, man how could anyone dislike this guy
Can we start a petition for UFC fighters to get payed more please ✊🏾💙 I'm tired of seeing fighters not get rewarded for the punishment they face.

Dustin and Nate are my favorite fighters. Dustin is such a humble respectful purely honest person. Give back so much. And he will also be the champ soon
"Waiting for your receipt after exchanging" and "Taking pictures" I like those quotes
Dustin 💎. Great fight name. You prove it every fight. What you do outside of the octagon is truly admirable. Always been a fan! Idk what’s in the water in LA, but you and DC are one of my favorites. Heal up, champ.

I love being able to hear everything in these fights & there's no crowd favorite to influence the judges
HELWANI is such a real dude such a nice guy always respectful and tries to always uplift someone., GOD BLESS!
Dustin is such a great guy- speaks and talks real. Love that.
Even more of a fan after watching this interview. Keep healthy brother! Life after the career is important.
Such a beautiful person, Dustin. Wish you and your family all best man. Congrats for the win.
A true man of values and morals that are aligned, props to Dustin. McGregor fan but Poirier is a class act.
Pray for him and his beautiful family... 🙏 My Man... Respect
i used this as a comment to someone but decided to chare with all, Dustin is definitely one of the greatest fighters just for his record, the opponents he's faced, his weight class, and the era of his weight class with all the best of the best fighting at the same time in that weight class. any of the top 10 in the light weight division in this era are one of the greatest fighters of all time for mma. prove me wrong.

I think anyone in the LW division would need a win over any 2 of Conor, Khabib and Tony to be the GOAT of LW.

I love watching this guy fight man, he is so calm and fluent with his boxing.
I would love to see The Diamond fight Connor now!!!! He's a different fighter now. Seasoned, experienced, tough as nails. Im a Connor fan but I think Dustin wins if they fight again. Much respect Champ!!!

Great fight on Saturday by Dustin, he will always be my favorite fighter I hope he gets back to the title
Love Dustin and how can anyone hate on Ariel , he gets these guys to talk level headed , he sympathizes with them and helps them open up more.
The brute honesty from Poirier is something to be respected! ✊🏼
