Was swimming in a river in Idaho a few years ago when a few of these guys swam up to me and attached to my arm. I felt so tickled, and loved watching them swim around like mermaids, but then I had to move them to a plant so they could complete their metamorphosis. A few hours later I came back to only the discarded exoskeletons on the plants.

Saw a green Darner nymph in a lake awhile ago. Terrifying! Been using the internet to identify it but they’re so big!
