He is not playing base. He is playing acoustic guitar. The drummer is playing a bongo type of drum.

The chemistry is still there.

It was a reunion after such a long time, I don't think anyone expected them to put on a perfect performance. They were just there to have fun with the fans, and it looks like everyone did.

We saw them i"m guessing around 1995 They were amazing! High enough is one of the best rock ballads ever written!

I like the way Ted was playing. It sounds like he was trying to get some kind of low end into the song. Usually, no bass, no low end. Not here. Good job Ted!

you should listen to his double live gonzo album from the 70s he had a lot of low tone solos in those songs so he can bring it to any song :)

There has never been a better assembly of talent in rock history. Each of the 3 could front any band--and they all were able to put aside egos to do 2 KICK ASS albums.

Blades & Shaw still harmonizing the heck out of it, nearly 20 years after the sing was released! Awesome. Saw them twice in the early 90s. Great stuff.

I was soooo glad that DY were successful at a time when Grunge was king & hard rock wasn't. Pleasure to see these brilliant & durable artists suceed at a time when their genre of music wasn't as successful.

When this song hit in early 91, grunge was still at a distance. Not long, but DY got a head start. But yeah, I agree.

Tommy is an amazing musician, how is great his voice, they shoul return again, i just love this band!

You Ted haters don't get it...He is "Gonzo" he is the Motor City Madman, he is what he is. And Jack, Tommy, Michael AND Ted are Damn Yankees. Trust me, they know what they got with Ted and trust me again, they wouldn't trade him for nothing and he doesn't bother them one bit.

Damn Yankees are awesome band from 90's

So great to see them all play together again in 2010. I recently saw Styx and Tommy Shaw sounded great. A week later I saw Night Ranger and they played High Enough. Jack Blades sounds great. This gives me hope that they will do future shows together again and hopefully record new Damn Yankees music.

He is such a master guitarist. None of his concerts are the same, he just closes his eyes and goes. And he could not hear because his right ear is to "balance his face off" in his words. You also have to tune differently with an acoustic and since they are tuning to a different key it makes it all the more difficult. Yanks, Ted, Styx, etc keep on kicking ass! We love you guys.

@smitchix Tommy Shaw still has the Damn Yankees III tapes they did before they were unceremonious dropped by Warner Bros (as was Van Halen and other acts Warner Bros considered "oldies"). What's holding up a reunion is, Cartellone is in high demand as a drummer, and the other three have had their own groups they record/tour with (Styx, Night Ranger, Nugent).

Jack, Tommy, and Michael have all been open to a reunion. Jack and Tommy are still tight and Michael's gonna be finishing up with Skynyrd for good pretty soon. Ted's always been reluctant because doing a reunion would interfere with his hunting season, which is usually the time he spends unwinding in between his own tours.

The sound is terrible, but i don't worry, i loved, Damn yankees are outstanding! Thanks for sharing!

If you listen close,..its the crowd singing with the band thats making it sound off,...But thats a good thing.
