Damn.. The Fight That NEARLY BROKE Naoya Inoue's Life..

Naoya Inoue might be the best boxer pound for pound at the moment, but in his 25 total fights, there was one particular night, where he nearly lost everything that he had achieved to his name.
It was a clash between a rising young superstar, against an aging legend of the sport that not only wanted to end the hype train of the japanese fighter, but literally break his spirit into pieces.
Today we will talk about the legendary fight that nearly broke naoya Inoue and we will reveal all the details of the famous fight against Nonito Donaire, one of the greatest clashes of all time.

Donaire was never expected to make it as far as he did. Everyone thought the aging fighter would be taken out much sooner in the tournament. The fact that he made it final match against inoue was already a huge achievement. Not to mention the heart he had to bring a real challenge to inoue and make the monster earn it. Much respect to donaire.

36 years of age is not that old. 36 can still be very strong if the person is fit as and trains himself constantly. Donair was beating all his opponents to get to the final. Inoue was just too good for him. Stop using his age as an excuse why he lost. Same thing happened in the 2nd fight too. He was beating all his opponents to earn a rematch with Inoue. It's not his age that he lost, Inoue was just too good for him.

"The Fight That Nearly Broke Naoya Inoue's Life"???? Clickbait much? With the exception of TWO moments in the fight that merely stunned Inoue (including the delivery of his orbital fracture), he recovered and always had the slight edge. Yes, it was a more challenging fight than he had had in a long time and it was a spectacular fight, but Inoue proved he was durable as fuck and it's frustrating to hear folks say his flaws were shown or "his life was nearly broken." Sure, he got touched up good a few times. He's in a damn punching contest, that's what happens! Just because it rarely happens to him, doesn't mean that when he does, he's in some kind of grave danger. During the Fulton fight, Coolboy actually got a couple of shots in and all the Scooter fans went bananas thinking Inoue was getting exposed. LOL! Yes, I saw his head snap back and then I saw him give it as much attention as a mosquito bite. After the Fulton fight, all of a sudden all these boxing channels are talking about him like the superstar came out of nowhere and they've got the best insight on him. You guys are late to the party!

I greatly esteem the boxing qualities of Nonito Donaire, who has so far been the opponent who has been most able to counter, but only for a few rounds, Naoya's speed and strength. The most worthy of stepping into the ring to fight Naoya. It is true that after this match one of Naoya's eyes is still not fully healed, unfortunately, but considering every blow with which Naoya demolished Nonito for 12 rounds, the title of the video should have been, realistically, "The fight that NEARLY BROKE Nonito Donaire's life."

Inoue vs donaire first fight donaire was actually knocked out. When donaire got hit with a body shot he turned his back from Inoue and ran half way around the ring where the referee bumped Inoue from attacking donaire, then the referee started counting after eight seconds have already gone by since the body shot and then started the one count. That was a knock out, it is illegal for a referee to bump a fighter away from attacking another fighter who’s still on his feet and running away. The Monster was cheated out of a knock out because of the referee and the late and slow count after the body shot that dropped donaire.

Donaire did not impress when he was the champ but this fight made me respect him as the past legit champion. He gave the monster a real fight. Inoue is special like the PACMAN. Unfortunately he will not be able to beat the Pacman's achievements like fighting bigger men in the welterweight division. Inoue will be knocked out instantly. He will reach his ceiling at 126 division. North of 126 will be a different ball game.

"There's wasn't much trash talk before the fight..." It's not really that, It's just how Asians treat oponents, with respect....

In this match, I think Inoue has shown too much respect to Donaire. He made his life harder for this match. That's why on their second encounter, Donaire did not exist.

3:29 same punch nery tried to land all night on him. landed once in first round cause he keeps dropping the right when he does a left uppercut or left hook in the inside. that was his weakness but you have to get close and trade with him to bait him to do that. still risky.
