IMO, there has never or ever will be again, be a comedian so funny as Dame Edna! Had me laughing for most of my life! They don't make them like this any more!

Dame Edna is like a kind of fantastic, relentless daemonic being. The character is a shield - nobody gets out alive. Amazing!

I remember afterwards when the lady was doing flower arrangements with Edna, she was basically throwing the flowers at Edna. 😂

You can tell when someone is Truly funny when they have the crew laughing.

It's not just that. it's also because people were saying Alex was copying Christine Bleakley and there wasn't much difference between them. Barry Humphries is playing on that.

Never thought of Barry Humphries as a “dude”. He was a fantastic gentleman and intellectual in the true sense. A genius. A clown. He was Everything .
