1. Why do I add pepper to container Damascus steel.
2. What do I sprinkle? Flux and its composition.
3. How do I remove the container from the workpiece (container Damascus steel).
4. Why am I drilling a hole in a container.
5. Why do I sweep away the dross from the anvil with my hand.
6. Why do I first forge some blanks on a tree.
7. In what and why do I soak the blank before forging.
8. In which granules do I place the workpiece after forging.
9. What kind of white powder do I pour into the container.
10. In what liquid do I develop the pattern on the blade.

I have concluded that the pepper does absolutely nothing but raise questions.

If I'm not mistaken (which is possible😂) it actually boosts the carbon content to make the blade steel harder.

@@pyrosmoak53nope, (at least I don’t think), the Russian words for sharp and spicy are the same, so he’s joking like he’s adding sharpness to the blade (but he can just use an enchantment table or enslave villagers to give it to him for low prices [I’m sorry])

It's a play on Slavic double meanings. Words going back and forth in meanings between different Slavic languages is common. They're all pretty close languages to one another really.

@@pyrosmoak53Not so much boost carbon content, but it can help prevent oxide inclusions by giving oxygen trapped in the cannister something easy to bind to rather than the iron or carbon in the steel.

It's almost paradoxical how peaceful these videos make me feel while you have to live in the middle of a war. Another stunning piece of craftsmanship. Take care of yourself.
To make something as stunningly beautiful as this from old parts is inspirational. Love the work. Stay strong

Mr Shurap I need to tell you that I put this video on my tv and my cat was watching it with me. He was very interested in the forging and shaping process, but he got a bit sleepy when you moved on to grinding 😂 Love from America! Keep up the good work and stay safe!
I know it’s a simple profile, but I love the profile of this blade. Good to see you post mate.

He most often does clean and simple profiles. I get the feeling he likes knowing these are actually useable even though they're probably not meant to be. Just my perception
Very abstract and beautiful pattern. Seeing the blade come out from the etch must be an incredible moment for you every time, as it is for us. Love from Finland, victory for Ukraine.
Always a sense of relief when you post a new video these days. Stay safe mate. 🇺🇦 🤝 🇬🇧
