As much as I want a sequel I am having difficulty suspending my disbelief. He stabbed the main villain so many times that the guy was like a pin cushion and being alive AT ALL is a lot to ask for but was he in a coma or needing months of reconstructive surgeries and physical therapy? Nope? Just a few days later he is good as new and storms right out of the hospital. So is this movie science fiction? Does he have Wolverine level healing factor or something?

A good plot device for a sequel is for the FATHER of the Brandt guy that Connor McGregor murdered right before Jake put him in the hospital to want revenge for the death of his son (and get out of prison himself) and not knowing it was Connor who killed his son assuming it was Jake (I am using the actor's names, I am bad at remembering names).

@@nikkova2007 Sequels need to "up the ante" so to speak. He needs to be even more evil and ruthless than his son was and the sequel should be even more violent. Also, Connor should come after Jake early in the movie and this time Jake makes SURE he is dead but then as happens in martial arts movies he has to face an enemy even deadlier than Connor.

Jake Gyllenhall and Patrick Swayze were in a very good movie together 20+ years ago 🎬🔥 weird ?

Might have to watch it

Jake ain't Patrick, that's for damn sure. But ain't gonna knock Jake's Dalton. Hopefully pat is enjoying this

Patrick was a larger man and had bigger muscles which I guess is important for that kind of role but I kind of liked Jake's acting better in this. His non chalant way of facing every situation reminded me a lot of Danzel Washington's "Equalizer". The way he talks so matter of factly to the people he is about to kill or maim.

I'm going to watch this one!!!

Yea, don't think I'm going to watch another remake. If the trailer doesn't look interesting then I'm pretty sure the movie will not be worth watching.

The more clips I see of this movie the less interested I am in seeing it.

if they just took the violence out this movie it would be about 1000x better.

The movie was good jake crushed it, the ufc guy sucked as an actor- line delivery was terrible, i guess he was just playing himself?
