Dallas | The Ewings argue about Jock's Will

Ойын-сауық

JR, Bobby and Sue Ellen are the only ones to protect Jock's Will. Miss Ellie, Pamela, Lucy, Clayton and even Ray seems to be against.

I can see everyone's point of view here. However in Miss Ellie's eyes, she wasn't worried about money that much but rather the unity of the family which was worth more than money. The division between as a result of the contest was tearing the Ewing brother's apart.

Because he knows the chances of him being the topic of discussion of some under handed scheme that could put Ewing oil and SF ranch in jeopardy is VERY HIGH. He most likely wants to be as close to intoxication as possible by the time it all goes down...😂😂😂

By s14, the doctor told jr he needed to cut back on the alcohol consumption as he had damage to his liver......In real life, Hagman underwent a liver transplant in 1995 b/c of his heavy drinking.....All bunk n bull....My daddy who was a borderline alcoholic was told by his doc at 57 that he needed to lay-off Alcohol or he wld not see 60....My daddy ignored the advice n lived to be 96.

If Miss Ellie thought braking Jock's Will is going to bring the family back together again....I thought she was sadly mistake both Bobby and Mostly JR would resent her for the rest of their lives and her wish of a peacefull home is not going to happen............Miss Ellie would end up with her sons hateing her and maybe finally move out of the home for good.........which is Miss Ellie's fear........even the actress playing MIss Ellie felt the character was wrong in wanting her family at home for rest of their lives...........mot parents raise their children and want the best for them including moving out on their own.........Miss Ellie doesn't want that.

@@patrickperalta59 it would be good but on the other way, Bobby became too different and like JR during this fight. Pamela almost never recognised him and Miss Ellie saw that too. I just resent they didn't put Ray and Lucy in this argue because both agree with Pam and Miss Ellie

@@patrickperalta59 I think the reason why Sue Ellen and JR was standing up against Miss Ellie because to protect the interest of John Ross. Bobby for Christopher. For their share and inheritance of Ewing Oil. But not to say both Miss Ellie and Pam are wrong because it is simply to keep peace and settle things in a peaceful fair and square manner.

I look at it this way: Miss Ellie was right to protect the long term interests of her family, in all respects. JR and Bobby were right to want to satisfy their father's last wishes, even if not always for the right reasons. And while it was admirable that Pam stood up for Miss Ellie she, like Sue Ellen, should have stood WITH her husband.

She was afraid her husband was becoming more like JR and in fact he started to be a lot more competitive. He even used her a couple of times and she was never aware of that. Plus, he barely saw Christopher or spended quality time with her. It's difficult to adjust that specially when both were so eager in being warm and careful.

@@ItThats while i disagree with her actions, I see your point.....Jr was arrogant, manipulative, deceitful....but he acknowledged and owned his faults....Bobby & Cliff cld be a bit sanctimonious & hypocritical......Pam remained consistent throughout the show (Clayton stood in judgment of Jr but his actions with Dusty were deceitful) ....
