I met Larry Hagman and his wife in 2003. At the time, I was working at Hendrick Motorsports. I worked with a lot of well known folks, like Jeff Gordon and Jimmy Johnson, but nothing held a candle to meeting ole JR.

Just think, Larry Hagman's 100K per episode don't come close to the "Friends" cast 1 Million per episode back in the 90's. With that knowledge, Larry should have gotten 2 Million an episode. That show was NOTHING without him! Facts!

Matt Beeman I agree with you 1,000% about the actors on Friends being overpaid. I don’t feel the acting was anywhere near as good as Larry’s on Dallas. Even though Dallas was quite a few years before Friends, Larry should have been paid a larger salary. Both shows were nowhere near the same caliber to be compared.

I think Priscilla Presley was great in Dallas as Jenna...and she proved just how versatile she was in The Naked Gun movies. What a delight! Played off Leslie Nielsen very well. Those movies remain "laugh out loud" funny! Shyness and anxiety are so difficult to overcome. That's a huge achievement in itself. Good on you, Priscilla. From Australia. 😊

That was the Ewing Barbeque episode from the 86-87 season. Cliff and JR were fighting and Bobby was flying in on Helicopter after returning from South America after he found out the truth about Wes Parmalee.

I agree with you. She was very pretty. . . but I didn't think she was a great actress. With that said, she did make the part her own and did a decent job. However, I just never warmed up to her. There was just something about her, even though I didn't dislike her . . .that wasn't all that likable.

Elvis was a peado he was knocking around with a girl of 13 years old called priscillia his EX-wife ...wake up zombies . He's right about them supposedly reading the bible, the believing in God thing was purely a " PR thing "to appeal to as many fans as possible, same as him wearing the jewish star of David, his image was something he could never live up to, it was a "well professional crafted" "image" but the person behind it was nothing like it. ....A True fan would look beyond the image and seek "truthful answers" , not ignore or put down things just because it doesn't suit their perception of him. That's kind of delusional, even Today his "created image" is still being protected as there is a lot of money to be made from it ! by the family and the companies that own the copy rights of Elvis enterprises and the tour business --------------------------------------watch this video for second opinion . kzread.info/dash/bejne/rGadmLxwY5TbebA.html In Germany, 13-year old Priscilla would hang out at the Eagles Club, a place for eating and entertainment. According to Priscilla, she'd often just listen to the juke box and write letters to her friends. One day, a handsome man looking somewhere in his mid twenties approached Priscilla. His name was Currie Grant. He asked Priscilla, 'How'd you like to meet Elvis Presley? My wife and I are good friends of his'. Of course Priscilla agreed, and the night she was to meet Elvis, she wore a white and navy sailor dress. Elvis lived off base in Bad Nauheim. On the evening of Sunday, September 13, 1959, Currie, his wife, and Priscilla drove for forty minutes to get to Elvis' house. Out of nervousness, Priscilla didn't speak much. When she finally arrived, entered the house, and met Elvis, he'd taken a liking to her right away. He even seemed to be trying to impress Priscilla with his songs he'd play her. After the first night of meeting Elvis, Priscilla couldn't concentrate on school, but she told nobody that she'd met Elvis, because as she thought, 'Who'd believe that just last night I was at Elvis' house .Much has been made of the fact that Priscilla was only 14 when the pair was introduced, but the young girl was mature for her age, and Elvis was mindful of the implications of the situation ...Elvis wanted to see Priscilla again, and so, she began visiting him regularly. For six months this went on, almost as if they were a couple. Priscilla thought of nothing but Elvis, she cared for him, listened to him, and accompanied him. They were almost inseparable. After Elvis was discharged from the Army, his only contact with Priscilla Beaulieu was over the phone and by mail. Two months shy of her 15th birthday, the blue-eyed brunette with the turned-up nose remained in Germany when Elvis departed for the United States. Within days there were reports that he was dating Nancy Sinatra. It was three weeks before Priscilla next heard his voice, reassuring her that she was the only girl for him, and over the next two years she grew accustomed to the rumors and his denials, as well as the pain and frustration that came with loving the world's biggest heartthrob from a distance of several thousand miles. In a press conference on the day he arrived back at Graceland, Elvis played down his relationship with 'the girl he left behind'. But in truth, though he was dating Anita Wood and several actresses, he seemed to have reserved a special place in his heart for 'Cilla'. For the time being, Elvis went along with Colonel Parker's belief that an all-consuming relationship would hurt his image and be bad for his career. Priscilla patiently waited for their reunion. During their conversations, Elvis would discuss his career, even his relationship with Anita Wood, causing Priscilla to wonder where she fit in. However, he also insisted that he wanted her to visit Graceland. Cilla just had to hang on. And she did for nearly two years, even amid newspaper and magazine articles linking Elvis to beauties such as Juliet Prowse and Tuesday Weld. ----- priscilla.elvispresley.com.au/
