Since JR pulled up in a Cadillac Allante this must've been shot in 1987. I hardly missed an episode for the entire run. One of the best shows ever. My only regret was Jim Davis' death. Jock acted as a check on both sons when needed

I know that J.R. Ewing is just a fictional character, but I know people like him exist in reality.

This show was larger than life!

Larry finally got his wish. He threw tantrums on the Jeannie set because he wasn't the star. He took this show about Bobby and Pam and made it the JR show 😂 Even with the recycled story lines, Dallas is addicting! I watch it on Amazon Prime every night!

My husband and I are on Season 10 and we are so addicted. I started watching in high school in the 80's then I got busy with college and young adulthood, so I kept up to date from my Mom and would watch when I could. One of the best shows ever.

I’ve always adored petite women. I was so head over heels with Lucy it ached. 😅

It was just a generic painting used by the Dallas prop designer. The portrait also popped up on shows such as The Big Valley, Matlock and even appeared in the Kenny Rogers video for The Gambler.

After Pam’s accident it would be perfect time to bring back Lucy and Mitch since he was a burn unit doctor.

Writers must've been like, "We need another person around Southfork. We won't give them any storylines. We just want someone else for JR to make fun of....... Wait I got it. We can bring Lucy back!"

Also, why does JR and Lucy have such a problem with each other all the sudden? Last time we saw them together before this, JR was toasting to happiness for Lucy's upcoming wedding. They were getting along great.

@jrewing1512 your right they always had a bad relationship. However in her last couple of episodes before she left they were getting on great. JR said to mitch he was happy that Lucy was happy. Lucy even said to Jr " you really mean that don't you " Jr hugged her at her wedding and told her would miss her. It was the most nice they had ever been to each other since the show started. Those scenes seem to be forgotten. It's like now they hated each other before she left. That being said it prob would not be so much fun if they liked each other lol

I don't blame Lucy for annoying JR in this clip because it seems to me that, at times, JR treats Lucy's dad (JR's own brother Gary) & her mother, Valene, like horseshit!!

Larry Hagman has the perfect Texas accent not overdoing it but the right lilt

In the first season, JR was a bit of a weenie and it was to be "Bobby's" show, but yeah JR was naughty and that appealed to a bunch of us who apparently like naughty oil men!!😅 I loved this show, still do and I only realize my age when I see the cast grow old ot pass. They were my family and I WAS going to get that ranch!! It was the star if the show to me. I still want a ranch...but never got that. But, the show goes on....
