The cowboys have something that my friends and I like to call the 2nd round curse. The cowboys just aren’t great drafting in the second round lately. Hopefully this past draft is different.

i have really high hopes for Kneeland

Baffles me that the Cowboys drafted Schoon. They drafted Ferg the year before, Hendershot was surprisingly good, and another TE that was on the roster. They were even fortunate to get Stephen’s and was gaining traction before injury. This year Brevyn is being talked about favorably. Only can image who else they could’ve gotten in round 2 of last years drafted. Politics WILL keep Schoon on this team despite the other TE success.

I like Williams. He looks like he could play Linebacker.

Sam isn’t a bust. Dan Quinn had his favs. You can see that because Quinn took them with him to Washington.

Owners looking into putting a cap on Qbs...that would be HUGE

Schoonmaker was drafted mainly because of his blocking ability

Dak is 28-34 vs teams who finished the year above 500, playoffs included. Looks even worse when you factor in wins vs teams who had starters pulled. Or like Philly this year who had collapsed. Or like wins that were gifted like Detroit this year. This means he has lost 7 times to teams at 500 or less. 73-41 overall. My point is that its not just that he cant win in playoffs, his whole career has shown that he has major issues vs good teams. And Cowboys can't contend unless you can beat contenders.

In the last 64yrs..64yrs...out of all the QB's that the Cowboys have had..name one that has placed higher than Dak in the MVP Race..Not Troy, not Tony Romo, not Danny White...there's only been one Cowboys PLAYER who's placed Higher than Dak..and that's the NFL Rushing Title Holder, Emmitt Smith...who placed number One in the MVP Race..Roger Staubach ( with Tony Dorsett Drew Pearson and a DOOMSDAY Defense ) are tied and number two 🤔..None of the Cowboys QB have rated higher then Dak for the Most Valuable Player in all of the NFL... And that was done with a sub-par defense and an invisible run game and 1 and a 1/3 WR's😅😅😅 Now Here We Go....😅😅😅

I really think Tolbert is good, he just never got the opportunity he should’ve. I think the cowboys like to play politics and was why Gallup was a starter even tho we all knew Tolbert deserved a chance. They did share reps but Tolbert should’ve been WR3 last season

Sam Williams is a dog and I think he's getting better slowly Unpopular opinion.. I've never seen ANY reason why Tolbert and schoonmaker should have been drafted at all let alone in the damn 2nd round.. both those picks belong in the Taco Charlton bin

Sam Williams is on the Cowboys he's clearly flashed, and they continued to limit his reps for whatever reason. That's on the coaching staff.

Williams will have a breakout year this year! Especially with Fowler being gone. Dlaw, Williams, kneeland will have a good amount of production especially with overshown being back! Plus eric Kendrick’s being added to the LB room & the young stud from Dame. We should be looking better! Don’t forget diggs, bland & carson! Tolbert & Luke on the other hand better get it together or get lost after this season. Our team is full of young talent & someone is bound to step up and shine out🔥 can’t wait for the new season 😎

Quarterback Dak Prescott got to he's good but he's not proven himself in the playoffs

It's too soon to put Schoonmaker on this list. Especially when he has as many TDs in 1 season as Tolbert has in 2. Also because Ferguson is already the real deal ahead of him. Schoonmaker was seen as a strong blocker when drafted but also posseses athletic ability and upside in the passing game. It's ok if he is behind Ferguson because the team can use both, especially in the running game. Sam Williams is Uber talented and uber dumb. His off the field troubles and bonehead penalties make him a huge disappointment, who deserves to be on this list and maybe hurts the worst w his incalculable upside. Hopefully this kid grows a brain and performs to his potential. It would be great if the Cowboys profited from drafting him rather than letting some other team use his skill after he wakes up from his cognitive stupor.

First off… Zim is on a 1 years deal to pad his retirement. He will not return next season bc there will be a new HC. Everyone on Defense will be evaluated by the Jones family. Meaning, Sam Williams needs to make sacks bc that’s all Jerry’s Kids care about.

Schoomaker was a “We don’t know what we are doing” pick. It happens all the time when another team drafts their player. Bobby Carpenter reminds me of one that Parcells had back in the day.
