DAING NA BANGUS is a Filipino fish dish. Milkfish is marinated overnight with a mixture of vinegar, garlic, salt, and ground pepper. It is best served with a dipping sauce or “sawsawan”, sunny side up egg, and garlic rice or what they called DASILOG which stands for DAing, SInangag (fried rice) and itLOG (egg).

Shalom! As a Jewish guy that like to cook Phillippino Foods .. I like to try this but i cannot find any Milkfish here in Jerusalem, Israel, so i tried with Tilapia Fish and its good i like it..Toda Raba! (Thank You)

Hi if you cannot find milk fish just use another type and just make sure you got the right marinate Ingredients

Ang nanay ko pag gumawa ng daing na bangus pagkatapos i marinade binibilad sa araw pagdating ng hapon pwede na lutuin. Ang sarap talaga

Would you recommend a dusting of cornstarch for a more crispy result and prevent sticking or just blotting off marinade will suffice ? I do it your way too , but the splattering is annoying . I just saw the dusting technique on meats, etc.

Hello po, minamarinate nyo pa po ba yung bangus o niluto nyo na po the same day? Kasi pag ako po gunawa at na marinate sya ng ilang araw o overnyt nagiging maasim po yung bangus. Salamat po at sana masagot nyo po tanong ko. God bless po. Love watching your videos.

Kapag ganyan po kaliliit, pakaprito niyo nalang po, pati buto malutong makakain, malalaki po tinik sa maliit na bangus at mas konti pa po ito. Madaling himayin na po kaysa malalaking bangus.

Ingredients for dipping sauce: 1 cup of vinegar 2 cloves garlic 1/4 part of onion 1/2 tsp pepper 1 pc red chilli 1/2 tsp soy sauce (just to add color) 1/2 tbsp salt 1/2 tbsp sugar

hnd ko na pinakita how to remove ung instestine kasi yung ibang manonood nandidiri po, anyway kung nasa pinas po kau sa palengke mismo naglilinis ng isda :)
