This was nice Video, Sadly I would like to know what is needed to Sync my new Camera Module upto my Dahua SD6430-h. I can Pan and Tilt however I can't access the camera to zoom.. Is there some magic we need for Sync Module to Dome.. I can see though the Camera, I can Pan and Tilt camera but the Camera and dome don't talk.. Is there a Channel the Module needs to be set to so the Dome and Module can talk to one another Like right now I think the Module is setup for 000 I can setup MOdule for any Channel I just don't want to keep taking it in and out of the Housing, Is there a way to change Via Command. Like Preset 200 Shot Yes number and enter kind of thing? Is the Module need to be set to 55... Again I can Pan and Tilt the Dome via RS485 and I can access menu for dome just no Camera access between dome and Camera Module...

Why the BNC connectors are not spaced enough to attach or detach them?. If you want to desconnect one, let say #8 or #12, is almost inpossible without messing everything. If there is some tool to do that, please let me know.

It's like that on almost all DVR. It's totally bullshit the way the connectors are spaced.

@@onnyt60 Yes, I saw that, even having enough space they are so close, I was thinking of replacing those BNC with just RCA, but usually they are attached to the motherboard itself so, will be a pain in the a@@.

@@bepolite2 To be honest I would look for a BNC to RCA if you want a way to be able to move the cables around fast and easy.. Just keep in mind that doing this and having a easy way for you to do as you are asking will make it easy for others to come in and unplug or change things around to make it so your Security Camera system really isn't that Secure... IN most cases your Right it is a PITA to change out the connector if one needs to unplug and swap things around maybe for Testing but as I said if it was easy then it would be easy to Defeat your Camera system... But if your Set on it there is a BNC to Rca Female and Male... Also there are some cables out there as well that are already made for CCTV with RCA or you could just get some Good Quality RCA and have 2 BNC Females to connect to DVR and Camera either way.. I use all kinds of connections even use F connector to BNC as well..

I have a Dahua v4.0 and cameras. Trust me, it's absolutely rubbish. I've had it for a year and I am still trying to fix problems like lag, cars vanish from the screen, they float, freeze, zap from one end of the screen and then disappear. Its mobile App is useless. When I get notification on which camera was triggered and then I open the App to check, the damn thing won't load the video, sometime yes, sometime no, or you sit and wait and wait when the loading of video is already over 99%, still nothing. Then I re-open it again and... sometimes it comes on, sometimes it doesn't, but an error appears, telling me to check the WiFi. I also have Hikvision v4.0 and it works with all Hikvision cameras, but Dahua, the blasted Dahua tells me to check the fkn WiFi? Unbelievable rubbish. Hikvision is better, but it sends too many Illegal login notification. The video on Hikvision runs smoother in Live and Playback, with minimum freezes, but the mobile App, HikConnect, is a pain in... never mind. It takes a while to get notifications and when loading the video to check on the mobile. Also, birds and cats can be ignored with the Hikvision system but Dahua pick them up even on the lowest sensitivity, especially when using the red detection boxes on the screen grid. So I use tripwire and Intrusion, which can be fixed to detect only humans. It doesn't pick Possums walking on fences though. Also both do not detect rain drops falling down past the cameras. After months of trial and errors I have been able to enjoy Dahua, just, but there are some features I haven't been able to set because Dahua support is pathetic, as is Hikvision support. I tried to get help on KZread channels and none received. ☹
