@@denizotan2569 Transposing's easier on guitar (particularly with the use of a capo) but I wouldn't find the transposition to be the hardest part of this.

as someone who knows very little about rock guitar, i was still amazed by how well this captured the essences of the guitarists i did know. i'm also sorta amazed at how different electric guitars can sound depending on playing style. i'm not sure any other instrument has that quality.

I don't think this would be the same as if they played the song... You kinda just played parts of the solos/ riffs from their own songs in this song... I mean that's cool and all if that was your aim.
In 7 years I have played this clip more times than I can count and I still can't get over the absolute fucking genius of it. Jezus Christ, this guy belongs in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. What a talent.

They are all supposed to be get lucky, or what Get Lucky would sound like featuring Brian May, some of the licks were lifted from other songs, some of it is just tone and style. I don't know if the Brian May was just improvised or if the licks were lifted from somewhere else.

é muito simples, há muito troll no youtube que simplesmente gosta de amargar a vida à gente e, esta é a minha opinião, o estilo dos guitarristas está lá e percebe-se, mas não é metendo os riffs da Sweet Child O'Mine e da Smells Like Teen Spirit, por exemplo, que se captam as essências daquilo que são os guitarristas em questão. Em suma gostei, mas percebo o porquê de haver gente que diz "não gosto"

I am not a hardcore rock or metal follower, but having heard several of these names it's good to have a common template (Daft Punk) to play them over and hear their approaches from their past iconic performances, I believe. 🔥🔥🔥

It's more like playing famous licks of the guitar players over the chords rather than truly imitating their styles in a meaningful way fitting the song. Solid playing though.
