That drumming hitting those crispy rimshots through out the entire song. The bassist also killing it with those funky lines. The guitarist is on fire. The keys I wasn't also expecting those. All in all fire band chemistry.
I think the production team should get some credit as well. The mixing quality, the camera work the lighting...It takes the people who worked on those things to make the video so incredible.

it might look like 'home lockdown session' but no way this is amateur. never knew the band, they're pro i bet
as if the drummer is saying "I'm not doing solo, I'm doing music". He nailed it with every sharp fill-ins and awesome grooves, being the real pulse of the band. Awesome overall musicality. Not a single member is left behind. All of them stands out. That's what a real band is. That's real music :)

@@joseaguilera7793 Luke hat ja auch nur ein paar Jahrzehnte mehr Erfahrung auf dem Buckel... wie viele Sessions der schon eingespielt hat und mit WEM der schon alles gespielt hat, ist nicht mehr normal. Da muss Martin noch eeeetwaaas nachlegen ... aber das Talent dazu hat er, so viel ist klar. Musik ist doch kein Wettbewerb. Martin spielt definitiv in derselben Liga wie Luke, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Andy Timmons oder Paul Gilbert.
Professional musicians in every way. A joy to listen to cover versions played so well but with a unique twist that makes them original too.
This is by far my favorite cover to "Get Lucky". Martin I LOVE your solo!

They knew this song but your version rocked their world. For music to move the world the right people need to move it! judging by this reaction, you did this right my man!. Kudos.

That is an incredibly basic bass line.
Martin your whole band gives me such joy. Your phrasing is next level compositional and melodic in a way that few of my historical heroes have ever produced. Bassist is always in the pocket and sings beautifully. Keyboardist vibes for days. Drummer slams. Production crew rocks. Just all around a complete live music package that makes my life just a little bit happier.

The pocket is so thick and deep on this-- LOVE Felix's work on it. Back beat is so groovy its neck breaking. You've done some great stuff and I love it all -- I think this is the thickest backbone I've heard, and it couldn't be placed better.
Dang do the good ones make it look easy, and everyone of these guys plays effortlessly! So inspirational! Thank you to all involved in making these. I know through experience that a production like these doesn’t happen overnight!

Thousands of hours of practice doing exactly that. Starting with simple things, and moving on to hard. I agree it is extremely impressive.
This musicians are professionals! Sound clear, good instruments....everything is perfect!!
As a drummer i can say he did it all. The fills were tight, precise and musical. Great grooves too.
This is a straight up super group. They go incredible justice to every single song they do. I'd pay serious money to see them live.

The real problem is there's way too much high end in the bass, so you get this loud clicking and clacking and noise, with the actual low-end and mids not being loud enough.

This drummer is such a G. You can tell that a lot of these covers aren't his main style, but he always plays so musically and his drums sound so damn good
