Well, I can only guess, but there's probably a software for PC able to doing such things, just with a little bit different interface. But probably not much cheaper than Moog One. My next guess there's probably dirt cheap software allowing similar effects, however way harder to use if you're not uber-geek ;)
And now I think it's time to say goodbye... :(

Actually the original one had a real bass played live and sampled (into an S01 if I remember well). As a bass player, I can notice the subtle tone difference, but I agree that is very hard to tell: he nailed perfectly the synth sounds...

@@dariomoran7452 It's hard to tell because they sampled single small parts of the intro and of the line and synced 'em with the drums. This way it sounds very precise and quantized but still somewhat human. Listen carefully to the intro with good headphones: when it transitions from the last note to the first you can even hear a subtle slide that would not be possible with a keyboard.
This is absolutely brilliant, getting inside a track. He's a master craftsman.
I keep watching this over and over lately. It's pretty awesome. I subscribed for this video alone!
I was always amazed how my old music teacher who was also a sound designer for Korg would listen to a track and emulate it down to perfection within a matter of seconds. its a great skill you have DR Mixx keep on rocking brother!

Synths are synths.. lots have lots in common. E.g oscillators.. and the waveform like saw / Tri / square.. learn the basics and you reuse that elsewhere
@weeardguy
4 жыл бұрын
Even though it looks intimidating, it may well be far easier to understand than the average 'synth on your PC-screen' synthesizer software. Just because you can fiddle with all the knobs, which usually are clearly marked when it comes to their function, you hear a direct result. That's where software usually misses out on. It's just not as clear as a real instrument. My own limitation is my inability to play the keys/create something from my bare head. Mixing existing music (dance, trance) no problem. Actually creating your own stuff > whole 'nother level.
