    Great job. May I ask, after you measured the outside mitre at 91.3, 45.65 for half of it, how did you setup your mitre saw angle to cut it? Could you also show how you do stairwells, measuring the cutting angle and where the horizontals join the rising dado rail.

    For setting the odd angles I use just the base miter angle clamp and don't rely on the default detents. For cutting a stair joint treat them as two planes. Use the horizontal angle and the bed angle, for the vertical use the saw head / compound angle on the saw. An alternative is to just cut a few scraps and keep experimenting. Another alternative would be to cheat and use a piece of architrave as a feature to joint up to on each side.
