I personally like Astroworld more than Rodeo but Rodeo is the generally more liked album. Also I understand why pops didn’t like it, it’s very modern and has some elements that take time to get used to and eventually enjoy. Some more JID would be fire btw ❤

part of what made this album great was there was no feature list when it dropped, so every track was a surprise

Yeah, can't forget Don Toliver first kinda started blowing up coming off that song CAN'T SAY. I remember when this dropped, I was blown away by this song. It was my favorite for a while. And the music video, SO DOPE! Don just sounds so unique!

I think the album hits more to people who have done psychedelics or drugs in general. There's sounds people recognize hearing when high. It's somewhat niche since most people don't do drugs or did them way too long ago to really remember. But yeah, regardless I feel I still enjoy the album. Some cuts are ok but short enough still. And usually heat comes right after anyway.
