Considering eve is basically a shadow demon/succubus, and her primary in-game mechanic is stealth and never really knowing exactly where she is until she's killing you, the mv(villain)is absolutely perfect for her character and overall theme.

K/DA introduced me to (G)I-dle, which was the first time I ever got into kpop! If you're interested you should check them out. Riot found them even before their debut. Riot also likes to use Soyeon (the leader and main rapper of (G)I-dle) for Akali every chance they get lol! Also to note, they have their own lore in this skinline. They are in a musicverse alternate reality which is a universe shared with other music-focused skinlines like Heartsteel, Pentakill, etc. The live performance for this and GIANTS is really good too! Hope you check them out as well :D

For Villain, the reason why they kept Evelynn in the shadows is because she is a demon that works in the shadows (like batman!). She lurks in the dark alleys near bars and other such areas and lures in victims with ideas. But she isn't a "succubus" in the more traditional sense w the 'eating the soul with love' but instead is an actual torture demon. She is the concept of BDSM come to life in order to take yours. She is the demon of agony, you will get no pleasure from her. The other demons are Fiddlesticks (you already met), Tahm Kench the demon of Addiction (gluttony and greed included), Nocturne the demon of nightmares, and Shaco. We have exactly 0 lore on Shaco, don't ask about him. In fact, we have -1 lore on Shaco. We don't even know what he is the demon of.

Although we have no lore, I have to say the idea behind Shaco originally, was 'Chaos'. So he might be the demon of Shaco, of course, that's just a guess. (His name is literally Chaos rearranged aka an Anagram)

The Akali in Giants is the same artist that is Akali in KDA and it's funny you mentioned Big Bang. She gets called the female G Dragon.

The debut of K/DA was an augmented reality performance at LoL Worlds in 2018. Where they had the animated members on stage with the singers who voiced them... Also, on side note, YG just announced a 2NE1 comeback and world tour for their 15th anniversary.

In villiain video we see evelynn in shadows because in game she is invisible to the enemies until she attacks them, so is cool how the mv has that creepy vibes lol, great video can't wait to see more reactions ❤

Evelyn's mv is based off how she works in game/lore. She's a stealth character, you aren't really supposed to see her until it's too late.

POP/STARS is basically what got me into Kpop, especially Soyeon's rap, it blew my mind ! You should react to the opening ceremonies, the 2019 one is the craziest to watch but the one with POP/STARS is kinda good too !

If you would like to dive back in K-pop I would suggest checking out Dreamcatcher they are more rock based or (G)I-dle two of their members were singers for K/DA, Soyeon (Akali) and Miyeon (Ahri)

I really adore Kai'sa but honestly, I think that's mostly because Kai'sa is like, the perfect underdog in League of Legends in almost all contexts lol. As you know, the game as hover 160+ playable characters. Kai'sa came out around the time when a new character wasn't very exciting anymore. And as a Marksmen, her playstyle wasn't breaking much ground. But you could tell Riot really wanted to hyped Kai'sa. Her release was tied to an event that ended up promoting Miss Fortune more unintentionally, so half the reason why Riot made K/DA was to further promote Kai'sa. That's why in Popstars she's generally in the center of most shots. Especially at the end when she's dashing in between all the girl. *But even then it didn't work!* People left K/DA liking literally every single other character more, rofl! And for the people who knew League of Legends lore, this was just the hay that broke the camel's back. Cause, long story short, when Kai'sa released, her lore fell flat real fast and no one cared. Which is sadly Kai'sa to a T at the end of the day, the character that came out that no one every really cared about. No one really liked her but no one really disliked her. Poor Kai'sa was just, there. x'D

Kai'sa is not an underdog. "Kai'sa came out around the time when a new character wasn't very exciting anymore." Not entirely true, Kai'sa came out when everyone was tired of champions with the same facial features. After this, Riots began releasing more unique female champions and more diversified ones. Now all male characters suffer from this. Kai'sa itself is in the top in terms of the number of skins produced for her, in two seasonal cinematics, part of the KDA and now the most popular Marksman in terms of pick rate.

Also stating kaisa is in the center just to bring attention to her 'cause she's a flop I also hardly disagree 'cause kaisa is ALL about movement, she is all about that flexibility not only in terms of her physiology with the second skin but even in game with the builds, and with that background she was made the choreographer/main dancer of the group and if you know any kpop group like really any of them the main dancer is the one with most time in the center (along with the visuals member) so she can ease the others members from potential dance errors. riot team did a really well job choosing the members for kda and how they completes each other gaps in terms of a kpop group edit: Her play style is so much of a ground breaker that after release in few years she became within top 3 most adc pick on competitive games against champions that are in the game since the beginning exactly because she is really self sufficient. Right now she is the most picked champion in the entire game even agains champions from other roles with a 4% difference from the second in a graphic that shows in average less than 1% difference in pick rate between the others. This sentiment has been reflected in all of their League reactions so far. We would've done without the muffling effect if we could (trust me it's more work on the editing side to locate and properly get it to pass), but this will have to continue in their reactions during parts that get claimed so their videos don't get blocked.

Evelynn is my absolute favorite champion. Some of the best skins in the game and an absolute baddy.

I love Pop Stars, like, instantly iconic and put Studio Fortiche on the map, but 'More' gets slept on a little bit. Incredible details and animation, the style is a bit more standard Pixar-ish vibe, but all the champs' personalities really shine in it.

As a league player and if I'm forced to play jungle I main Eve. She's amazing. Literally a succubus. Her voice lines are amazing and so bad bish vibes. Voice Line: "A man once told me to put on some clothes... so I wore his skin." Eve evil giggles. I also love they use her lvl 6 passive in a way and pair it with Akali. Both of them can go invisible: Akali - Smoke Bomb Eve - Passive (She becomes invisible to other players until she attacks or is hit by an enemy, she goes into a king of spooky silhouette mode and the sound and screen vision also enhances the experience of her ability.) I have the first video KDA mini figurines by Riot. They also have a deal with secret labs and have a chair KDA theme.

If you go through more KDA songs, I would love to hear "the baddest" and live performance of popstars is soooo good. Cant wait for more reactions ;))

I know they're not really into kpop, but soyeon from gidle is amazing and helped with the writing. she was the blonde in the live show, only true demage. I highly recommend watching gidle. amazing songs and talks about really good things

The funny think is even though there are Korean lyrics, the music was composed by a French composer working for RIOT :D And of course, POP/STARS is animated and directed by Fortiche :p

Great reaction. Been waiting for guys to get to the KDA videos. I'm not normally a K-pop fan, but these are incredible. And I would so let Evelynn step on me. I like all the girls, but there's something about Evelynn... There's a lore reason for keeping her in the dark in her video. Recommend reading up on her character. The copyright issue is a fairly recent thing. Didn't know about it myself until someone pointed it out. Normally, Riot has deals worked out with all the artists for these things. I'm guessing contracts are running out. Hopefully they can get it worked out again. That said, Riot has a page for creator-safe guidelines. They also have a content creator-safe playlist on Spotify and SoundCloud that should help you out. Basically, if the song is 100% owned by Riot, it's good to play. If they share ownership, then there might be issues. I'd post links to the playlist, but KZread has a habit of either deleting links in comments or the entire comment itself. You can find it though with a simple Google search.

I am a HUUUUUGE K/DA lover. Gotta say, knowing the history of Ahri's skins help appreciate POP/STARS and I'll Show You deeper. Just understanding that she has PopStar Ahri as a skin plays into her rise to stardom in K/DA. I'll Show You is real impactful when you imagine her as a real girl struggling with the entertainment industry.

Thanks for the explanation ladies! I'm a complete noob to LoL (outside of the Arcane anime which I love!) but I'm a 3d artist and have seen KDA character models available from various stores (which I've just got!) I'm pretty sure it's these 3D models that are used in the music videos. The whole concept of creating an augmented reality K-Pop group from champions from the game is amazing to me and having real life K-Pop stars provide the voices is genius!

There was a perfect comment on one of the KD/A video that’s said that Riot Games is posing as a game company while making songs/music that’s better than most mainstream music studios

I can't believe you picked up on Evelynn being the Beyonce of K/DA just from look and vibe lol In their lore Evelynn is approached often to go solo, but refuses. Everyone think she's a diva, but she's very loyal to her girls (so far). Her and Ahri are the ones who put K/DA together. Soyeon was still performing as Akali in Giants by True Damage. According to the lore that is Akali's other group who she went back to and made that hit with after the success of POP/STARS so that her other friends wouldn't be left behind while she kept succeeding with K/DA. (G)I-DLE's debut was the same year that POP/STARS came out meaning that the two girls from the group who are Akali (Soyeon) and Ahri (Miyeon) were selected prior to them even being members of an established k-pop group. They perform the K/DA songs on their own personal tours and it's such a treat since fans really love the songs. Riot had them back during a pre-show at last years Worlds Finals to perform some of their own songs as well as K/DA's.

In the Evelyn video they don't show her face Which plays well with the fact that in game she's constantly invisible to enemies and you don't see her until she is extremely close to you In which by then she's already Prepare to go for the kill

The live Performance at the Worlds i believe of Giants by True Damage is so amazing too. Got really nice live gimmicks on stage!

Evelyn wasn't shown because you're her victim. If y'all play, y'all know the feeling of not seeing her on the map.

Kai'Sa is supposed to be the dancer of the group. She doesn't sing much (you can still hear her voice in there), but she's always highlighted during the dance shots !

Okie i already know that u will not be making reaction video to those two songs but u have to react to those 2 live performances

The main reason why the didn't show Evelynn face in the Villain MV is because of her lore in the game. She is a demon in the lore and feeds off of other people's agony , most of the time Evelynn will disguise her self or shapeshift into something/someone else to seduce them or draw them in , then torture's them to get the most out of them before they die. At the very last moment she will show herself but even then, it is already to late for them to escape. In-game it is pretty much the same, she is invisible through out most of the game, then show up for like 3 seconds before you die and she disappears again.

When Dee watches the other cinematics with Kai'Sa, I'm pretty sure she's gonna change her fav back to Kai'Sa again 😅 Miss Fortune might end up on your bias list, as well as Riven. Maybe Irelia and/or Camille.

Ahris part is sung by Miyeon and Akalis part by Soyeon, both from the K-POP group G-IDLE, so this is produced with propper K-POP idols Anyways if you're going to continue to check out more of Riots music productions I Highly recommend checking out Mortal Reminder by Pentakill
