I agree and that comes from a Marine with 21 years of service retired. I cried when my son arrived at Oakland airport and I saw him safe. I sobbed tears of joy and relief. 🙏🏼

As a veteran, you don’t know if that goodbye is your last. I can’t imagine what it’s like for a mother or father to have that goodbye with their military child. Then to see them return. I can’t imagine the relief.

When I tell you I LOVE to see a grown man cry it makes me fill up with love, support and hope. No matter what u see on social media, we NEED our Black men to stay sane, stay connected to the Lord, and be loved.
